Casee: I’m out of town for the weekend so I don’t expect to get a lot of reading time in. I finally finished Vengeance Road by Christine Feehan. It really picked up and I ended up enjoying it. I’m currently reading Too Far Gone by Christy Reece which is the third book in her Grey Justice series. The series is free with Kindle Unlimited right now.
I’m also listening to Worth the Fight by Vi Keeland. I listened to Hate Notes by Vi Keeland by Penelope Ward and thoroughly enjoyed it so I decided to listen to another one by one of the authors. So far I’m really liking it. I honestly can’t believe how much I’m enjoying first person books. It’s amazing.
Holly: Things are crazy at work so I had a pretty slow reading week. I finished reading My Favorite Half-Night Stand by Christina Lauren, which I really enjoyed. I also re-read Mystery Man and Fairytale Come Alive by Kristen Ashley.
I listened to Inside Out by Lauren Dane. Man, I love this series. I’d forgotten how much I adore Cope. I also listened to Hate Notes by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward. It was just okay. I didn’t really connect with either character.
I’m currently listening to Jaxson (Riverwise Private Security #1) by Alisa Woods. I’m about 5 minutes in, so I can’t comment yet. I’m reading Heaven and Hell by Kristen Ashley, which I somehow skipped over.
Rowena: I’ve been so busy with shit at work that reading took a back seat this week. My office Christmas party is today so odds are, right this minute, I’m laughing it up with my coworkers and not reading anything at all. I did read Once and for All by Sarah Dessen and that was more of the same of what you’d expect of a Sarah Dessen contemporary YA romance. Good and enjoyable though. I also read Hate Notes by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward and that was another enjoyable romance that took me no time at all to read.
Next up is Mystery Man by Kristen Ashley because I need to get that read and a discussion prepared for next week’s end of the year book club. I can’t wait! After that, I’m hoping to finally dig into my eARC of The One You Fight For by Roni Loren since that took a backseat to reading Hate Notes.
