I read The Dixon Rule by Elle Kennedy, which was great. I was so happy to be back in the world, it prompted me to re-read The Graham Effect. Hail Mary by Kandi Steiner, which I enjoyed, though I did think the “conflict” around the third-act breakup was pretty weak. I DNF’d Ashton Scott by Nina Levine. There wasn’t anything really wrong with it, it just wasn’t holding my attention.

I am reading the Kings of Sin series by Ana Huang. She is a new-to-me author and I’m seriously loving these books. I finished King of Wrath (Kings of Sin #1) and absolutely loved it! I’m now reading King of Pride (Kings of Sin #2) and I’m loving this one too.

I’m rereading the Mercury Pack series by Suzanne Wright on audio. I’m currently listening to Echoes of Fire (Mercury Pack #4).

Holly

I listened to the Innkeeper Chronicles Graphic Audiobooks this week. I liked them, though not as much as the Kate Daniels Graphic Audios.

I recently discovered a new-to-me paranormal romance author, Reece Barden. I read 3 books in the Shifters of Grey Ridge series: The Alpha’s Saviour, The Alpha’s Revival, The Alpha’s Quest and The Alpha’s Mystery. There is a spin-off series, The Steel Pack, but the timeline is strange. The first book of the Steel Pack series, The Chase, takes place directly after the third book of The Shifters of Grey Ridge series ends. I’m kind of just picking them up at random at this point.

I also read two books in the Cherry Tree Harbor series by Melanie Harlow, Runaway Love and Hideaway Heart. They’re pretty quick reads, so I’ll probably continue the series, though I am enjoying the paranormals right now.

I’ve been heavily into UF and PNR the last few months. I’ve found some good authors through KU. The Eternal Mates series by Felicity Heaton has been one of my favorites. I finished Primal Mirror (Psy-Changeling #8) by Nalini Singh. I’m going to pivot and go back to contemporaries for a while. I’m going to try King of Wrath (Kings of Sin #1) by Ana Huang. This is my first book by this author. I’ve seen some really good reviews of her books, so I’m hopeful.

I reread (on audio) the Dark in You series by Suzanne Wright. I am now listening to The Mercury Pack series by the same author.

Holly

I’ve just been re-reading non-stop. I’ve read hundreds (might be a slight exaggeration) of samples and nothing is grabbing me, so I just kept re-reading. I finished the Kate Daniels series on audio, then listened to Blood Heir, Iron and Magic and both Wilmington Years books; Magic Tides and Magic Claims. I also read Repeat and Pause by Kylie Scott.

The only new-to-me books I finished this week were Ignite by Melanie Harlow and When Love Sparks by Chelsea Harmon.

I’ve been reading the Eternal Mates series by a new-to-me author, Felicity Heaton. I just finished Taken by a Dragon (Eternal Mates #7) and am going to start Marked by an Assassin (Eternal Mates #8). I also have the two new Nalini Singh books, but I don’t want to read them because I don’t want to be done with them and have to wait another year.

I’ve been rereading the Dark in You series by Suzanne Wright on audio. I really love this series. This is the third time I’ve reread it. I’m currently listening to Omens (Dark in You #6) and it’s one of my favorites of the series.

The only new-to-me book I’ve read so far in April is Bait N Witch by Abigail Owen.

I’ve been sick for the last two weeks and haven’t had the energy to read. I’m currently trying to get through Legacy of Temptation (Demonica Birthright #1) by Larissa Ione. I think I’ve been reading it for a week and I’m only halfway through. I’m also listening to Silver Silence (Psy-Changeling Trinity #1) by Nalini Singh.

Nothing has appealed to me lately. I’m a mood reader who doesn’t know what mood she’s in. It’s frustrating.

I read Forgotten Queen (Forsaken Mate #2) by Vasilia Drake, but I didn’t enjoy it as much as the first book in the series. I ended up DNFing the third book, Fatal Goddess, because the characters were immature and annoying (you’d think they’d have gotten better over the course of the series, but the opposite was true). I read A Court This Cruel & Lovely (Kingdom of Lies, #1) by Stacia Stark, which was intriguing, but then I wasn’t in the mood for the second book, so I set it aside in favor of re-reading Soul Taken by Patricia Briggs so I could refresh my memory before I read the ARC I received of Winter Lost. But then I wasn’t in the mood for it after I finished. I read and enjoyed When He Dares (Olympus Pride #6) by Suzanne Wright, though it isn’t my favorite of the series. I ended up re-reading some of the other Olympus Pride books, then The Dark In You series.

I read Green Gryphon (Mackenzie Green, #1) by J.S. Kennedy, which I enjoyed, but I wasn’t in the mood for the second book, Green Mage, so I set it aside. I’ve started a number of book since then, but nothing has held my interest. I have no idea what to try next.
