If you have any questions or concerns that you’d like to discuss with the ladies here at Book Binge, please don’t hesitate to contact us at: admin@thebookbinge.com.

Authors

If you’re an author or publisher and would like to submit a book for review, please email us at admin@thebookbinge.com. We review independent authors and presses, as well as traditionally published works.

When requesting a review, please include the title, length and description of the novel in question, along with the release date and any other pertinent information. Please be advised, however, that we’ll be honest, and just because you submitted it does not mean you’ll get a glowing review. If your book sucks big donkey balls, we’re going to tell the world. Just kidding. Well, not really. Also, please be aware that submitting a book does not guarantee a review.

We accept digital galleys/ARCs for review. We are approved through NetGalley, where we are a listed Review Organization Accepting NetGalley Titles. We will also accept a PDF or ePub via email. We also accept print copies. Please be advised that we are a romance book blog and right now, we are only accepting romance titles for review.

  1. And Then I Am Gone: A Walk with Thoreau tells the Story of a New York City man who becomes an Alabama man. Despite his radical migration to simpler living and a late-life marriage to a saint of sorts, his persistent pet anxieties and unanswerable questions follow him. Mathias Freese wants his retreat from the societal “it” to be a brave safari for the self rather than cowardly avoidance, so who better to guide him but Henry David Thoreau, the self-aware philosopher who retreated to Walden Pond “to live deliberately” and cease “the hurry and waste of life”? In this memoir, Freese wishes to share how and why he came to Harvest, Alabama (both literally and figuratively), to impart his existential
impressions and concerns, and to leave his mark before he is gone.
