Casee: I’m reading a series by Michele Mills who is a new-to-me author. The series is called Catastrophe. It’s set in a post-apocalypse world. I am loving it. I’m currently on the second book, Kill for Me. I am really enjoying how intense the characters and their relationships are. They’re just adapting to the new world they live in and not wasting a moment. Which does mean that relationships are formed faster. Which is not for everyone. There are three books in the series so far and I can’t wait to finish them all.
I’m listening to A Stone in the Sea by A.L. Jackson. I continue to fall in love with this author with each book I read/listen to. Her stories are so compelling as are the characters. It’s the first book in the Bleeding Stars series. I’m also looking forward to reading the whole series.
Holly: I listened to The Wedding and Honor’s Splendour by Julie Garwood, and re-read Now You See Her by Linda Howard. For new-to-me reads, I listened to First Contact by Kat Green. I have to be honest, it was pretty bad. I’m still barely reading, so I’m not sure what I’m going to pick up next.
Rowena: Well, well, well…it is my fault that last week’s WAYR post did not go up and for that, I apologize. You guys missed an entire week of what we were reading because my life has been a freaking crazy rollercoaster for the last few months and I’m hoping and praying that it slows down so that I can catch my breath and catch up on everything that I’m behind on.
Anyway, in the last couple of weeks I read the following: Bringing Down the Duke by Evie Dunmore, Shadow Music by Julie Garwood, We Met in December by Rosie Curtis and I’m finishing up The Play by Elle Kennedy because after I finish it, I’ll be jumping back into Well Met by Jenn Deluca and then I’m not sure what’s next. I really want to make the most of my reading time since it’s been so iffy the last little while and I want to read all of the books while I still want to read. I’ve been going through moods of YES I WANT TO READ EVERYTHING to not wanting to read anything. Send help!
