What Are You Reading? (522)

Casee: I’m working from home these days, so I have a little more reading time. I thought I would be reading much more, but that’s not really been the case.

I’m reading Viper Game by Christine Feehan and listening to Gunmetal Magic by Ilona Andrews. I am enjoying them both.

Holly: Nothing. I’ve read nothing this week. Sigh.

Rowena: I’m still not reading all that much. I’m on week 2 of reading Gunmetal Magic by Ilona Andrews. I’m enjoying it but if I’m not working then I’m watching TikToks. 2020 sure does suck big donkey balls.

What are you reading this week? Any new favorites or books that drove you crazy? Share!

I just started reading Wicked Intentions by Elizabeth Hoyt. It’s an older book, I’m liking it so far.

Two but oks I read and enjoyed this week were Julianna Keyes’s baseball romance, BENCH PLAYER, and Kate Canterbary’s m/m romance, MISSING IN ACTION (which is connected to her Walsh Family series). I recommend them both.

I am currently reading A. Zavarelli’s STEALING CINDERELLA, a dark contemporary retelling of the Cinderella fairy tale. The Prince in this book is very, very damaged.

    Since last time ~

    — The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune which I quite enjoyed; this contemporary fantasy would be fine for teen readers as well as adults.
    — Regency Royal Navy Christmas by Carla Kelly which was a highly enjoyable collection of four novellas. I had previously read the final novella, but the other three were new for this collection.
    — the graphic novel Estranged by Ethan M. Aldridge; it was an enjoyable read, but I don’t believe I’ll be rereading it. My library has it classified as a children’s book.
    — a science fiction novel which I quite enjoyed ~ Guest by E. Stoops. This would be a fine read for teens as well as adults.
    — a reread of SK Dunstall’s Linesman which I enjoyed once again.
    — Plus numerous book samples.
