What Are You Reading? 10/5/12 (127)

Holly: This has been another slow reading week for me. Things are super crazy in my personal life, so I barely have five minutes to breathe, much less read. I am making my way slowly through a re-read of Kiss of the Highlander by Karen Marie Moning. Rowena was talking about it last week after she did a re-read for her book club and I decided to revisit it. I was worried it wouldn’t hold up – and in some ways it hasn’t – but so far I’m surprised at how much I’m enjoying it. It’s been a good 5 years since I last read it (if not more).

Rowena: I finished Lord of Temptation by Lorraine Heath this week and have since started reading Misfortune Cookie by Michelle Gorman.  So far, it’s pretty good but we’ll see how it pans out.  After this, I have no idea what I’m going to read but I have so much to choose from.

What are you guys reading this week? Anything good?

  1. Hi Holly and Rowena! I haven’t read any books by Karen Marie Moning – but I so need to! I haven’t had a lot of time to read lately either and my TBR pile is huge. (Really wish I didn’t need sleep.) I just finished Vicki Lewis Thompson’s Werewolf in Seattle. It was cute. Now I’m diving into Jim Butcher’s Ghost Story before the next one comes out in November.

Have a nice weekend and happy reading!

  2. Love Moning’s Highlanders. I need to re-read that series.
Currently i am reading a bunch of ebooks. Just finished Lauren Dane’s Laid Open and now I am reading Joey Hill’s Board Resolution

  3. Currently supporting my new author daughter by reading her anthology Passionate Exhibitions (she’s writing under the name Lexie Donovan), at the same time I am also reading Gust Front by John Ringo.
