What Are You Reading? 11/21 (34)

Casee: I’ve been reading Sydney Croft’s ACRO series the last few days. I loved this series when it first came out and have no idea why I got behind. I read Seduced by the Storm, Taming the Fire, and Temping the Fire this week. My favorite of the three was Seduced by the Storm. I loved Wyatt and Storm. And the secondary stories were just amazing. I can’t wait for the next book in the series to come out. If you haven’t read this series, you’re really missing out.

Now I’m reading Fantasy in Death. I started Indulgence in Death, but realized that I hadn’t read Fantasy yet. So I have two In Death books to read.

Holly: It’s almost Thanksgiving! My kids are off school this entire coming week. Between that and the fact that we moved into a new house this weekend (I sit here typing this surrounded by boxes and boxes and boxes..and boxes of books), I doubt I’ll have much reading time over the holiday.

I’m in the middle of reading Moon Burning by Lucy Monroe. This is the third book in her Children of the Moon series. I adored the first two books, but this one isn’t grabbing me as much. Part if it could be my lack of focus. With the move and the holiday coming up, I’ve been running around like a crazy woman. I might set it aside and come back to it a little later.

Rowena: I can’t believe that November is almost over and that the holidays are right around the corner. My current reading slump is still in full effect as I haven’t read much of anything this week. There’s just a lot of things going on over here and I haven’t been in the mood to read much of anything. I did finally finish reading The Oracle Rebounds by Alison van Diepen which I enjoyed and right now I’m reading Stay by Deb Caletti, which I’m really enjoying. I’m hoping that I’ll finish this book and want to jump right into another story but lately, it hasn’t been like that. Wish me luck.

What are you reading this week? Anything good? Talk to us.

Reading Blood Bound by Patricia Briggs and liking it much better than the first – probably because I’m reading, not listening. — willaful

  3. I started Indulgence in Death but set it aside to read Marjorie Liu’s A Wild Light. But I needed something for the nook too so I started Joss Ware’s Night Betrayed. Then I couldn’t hold off any longer and started Megan Hart’s Precious and Fragile Things. (Love Megan Hart!)

And I’m listening to Mira Grant’s Feed.

They are all very good so far so I just keep switching off. I really should just pick one and finish it! LOL

I’m currently reading Glitter Baby by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. After that, I plan to read What I Did for Love by SEP. Meg Koranda (the heroine in SEP’s upcoming book, Call Me Irresistible) appears in GB and WIDFL (though she’s a kid in GB), and I want to be acquainted with her before CMI comes out next year.
