Casee: I’ve actually finished two books since last Friday. Whoop! I can’t believe how much reading helps my stress levels. Honestly, how could I forget?
I discovered a new-to-me author, Laura Kaye. I’m reading Ride Rough which is the second book in her Raven Riders MC series. Her backlist is long and I’m really looking forward to glomming her.
Holly: I didn’t have a lot of reading time this week. I finished Bountiful by Sarina Bowen and reread Archangel’s Consort by Nalini Singh. I’m feeling kind of blah about contemporary romance right now. I may try a historical next.
Rowena: I still haven’t really gotten into the swing of reading anything. Not after the way that my Dodgers lost the World Series. 🙁 Oh well. I’m reading, I’m just reading really slowly. I’m making slow progress through Changing the Game by Jaci Burton and so far, it’s pretty good.

— I just finished Lisa Marie Rice’s Midnight Vengeance (Men of Midnight Book 1) which is a contemporary romance with an element of suspense; it was a pleasant read.
I’ve been reading the same book for a week- The Scandalous Flirt by Olivia Drake. It’s fine, but nothing special. I’ve just been too busy to concentrate on reading. I have been taking advantage of my free trial of Audible’s Romance Package by listening at work. Through that I listened to Hold Me by Courtney Milan which I really enjoyed, a couple by Lauren Blakely which were fun, low-conflict, not very deep reads (or listens), Defending Hearts by Shannon Stacey which I was disappointed by, A MacKenzie Clan Gathering by Jennifer Ashley which I enjoyed, and Save a Truck, Ride a Cowboy by Molly Harper which I liked, but it suffered from being too short since it’s a novella.
