Rowena: I just finished Kiss of the Highlander by Karen Marie Moning for my book club and I loved the hell out of it. Like, more than I loved it the first time I read it. I can’t wait for our book club to start so that I can discuss the hell out of it. Now that I’m finished with that book, I’m getting back into Lord of Temptation by Lorraine Heath, I should finish that this weekend.
Holly: Since I was on a roadtrip the last few weeks my reading has been sadly lacking. I get really carsick and can’t read in the car. I did listen to a couple Louie L’Amour audiobooks with my grandpa, but that was about it (I heart them..my grandpa and LL). Since getting back I’ve done some re-reading, but that’s about it. I read a couple Mercy Thompson books and Heart Mate by Robin D. Owens.
Today I started Dream Lake by Lisa Kleypas. I tried reading it when it was released, but I wasn’t in the mood for a contemporary at the time. I’m really enjoying it.
What are you guys reading this week?
I just read Heart Mate last week. I usually prefer UF to PNR, but this was just the right mix of romance and Fantasy. Just what I needed – another series to get hooked on. I also finally broke down and tried Motorcycle Man by Kristen Ashley. Definitely book crack. I will be reading more, but I have to space them out, otherwise her writing would drive me crazy.
I have the Kristen Ashley series TBR. I keep hearing about it. I’m going to have to breakdown and read it.
I’ve reading Highland Duchess by Karen Ranney, one of my Spring Fling wins. It’s at a very tense spot!
