Casee: I’m reading Sommersgate House (Ghosts and Reincarnation #1) by Kristen Ashley. I’ve been out of town and didn’t have time to read while I was gone which was a real bummer. I’m really liking this book and this series in general.

I’m still listening to Marrying Winterborne (The Ravenels #2) by Lisa Kleypas. At this point, I don’t know if I’ll ever finish it.

Holly: I finished To Dream Again by Laura Lee Guhrke. It was pretty good. Both the MCs irritated me at different times in the novel, but overall I enjoyed it. I’m almost finished with a re-read of Sweep of the Blade by Ilona Andrews. I’m about halfway through Pack of Lies by Hailey Edwards, the second book in the Potentate of Atlanta series.

I’m currently listening to A Study in Scarlet Women by Sherry Thomas.

Rowena: Hey everyone! I took a break from the blog but I’m happy to be back. I’m reading again and reading has made me miss this place so yeah, I’ll be back for good starting next month but I’ll keep you guys posted on what I’m reading these days. This week, I read Blood Heir by Ilona Andrews (yessssss!!!), To Dream Again by Laura Lee Guhrke (decent read), and now I’m reading Heart and Seoul by Jen Frederick. I’m almost done with Heart and Seoul and it’s going pretty good. I’m invested in the characters, in the female lead’s emotional journey back to her place of birth. I should be finished with that today after work and I think I’m going to pick up The Roommate by Rosie Danan.

What are you reading this week? Any new favorites or books that drove you crazy? Share!

I’m reading As Bright As Heaven by Susan Meissner. It’s a good book but very depressing as it is set in 1918 during the Great War and the Spanish Flu. What a horrible time it was for those poor people.

Heart and Seoul sounds appealing especially since my daughter lives in Seoul.

    Recent reads ~
    — Season of the Wolf (The Legend of All Wolves Book 4) by Maria Vale was an enjoyable read. I think it would be best appreciated by someone who has read the earlier books in the series.
    — Common Goal: A Gay Sports Romance (Game Changers Book 4) by Rachel Reid which I enjoyed (but not as much as other books in the series).
    — My Christmas Spirit by KC Wells which was a pleasant (-ly silly) romance that featured a matchmaking ghost.
    — His Knight (Shining Armor Book 1) by Charity Parkerson which was another pleasant story.
    — The Bridgertons: Happily Ever After by Julia Quinn was a fun read but would make little sense if you’ve not read The Bridgerton series. I enjoyed it.
    — His Bewildered Mate by Brea Alepoú was an okay read that ended on a cliffhanger. I don’t plan to read on.
    — My Christmas Number One by Leonie Mack which I quite enjoyed. Thank you, @DiscoDollyDeb for the recommendation.

  3. I just re-read the first three books in the Thornchapel series, and then finished it up with book 4.

Wow. Just wow. Sierra Simone knows how to tell a gd story.
