I finished Untamed Delights (The Phoenix Pack #8) by Suzanne Wright which wraps up The Phoenix Pack for me. I decided to move back to contemporaries for a minute, so I read Grayson’s Vow by Mia Sheridan. It was alright. Nothing spectacular. I’m currently reading When He’s an Alpha (The Olympus Pride #2) by Suzanne Wright. These are just such fast reads & they’re pretty engaging. I’ll probably finish up this series in the next few weeks, then who knows what I’ll read after that.
I haven’t been listening to audiobooks much lately, but I did pickup Protecting What’s Mine (Benevolence #3) by Lucy Score. I loved Pretend You’re Mine (Benevolence #1) on audio, so I decided to grab this one up.

I’ve been re-reading the Phoenix Pack books by Suzanne Wright. I’ve read and/or listened to Feral Sins, Wicked Cravings, Dark Instincts, Savage Urges and Wild Hunger. I want to read something new, but I haven’t had a lot of time or energy to look for something and these are easy reads. Plus, I already have them all on audio. I’ll probably finish out the series with Untamed Delights.
My pre-order of Edge of Wonder by Jenna Collett showed up this week, so I plan to dive into that one, soon. I really enjoyed the other books in the series and I’m so happy to have a new book from her. After that I’m going to read Magic Claims by Ilona Andrews. Can I just say once again how freaking happy I am to get more Kate Daniels books? Because I am really freaking happy.
This is going to sound odd but …I’m reading my books [Philly Heat Series] in preparation for the release of book #4 and research for book #5.
That’s awesome. Congrats on your upcoming release.
I just finished Ari Baran’s GAME MISCONDUCT—an m/m hockey romance which reminded me of a rougher, grittier version of HEATED RIVALRY with elements of THROWN OFF THE ICE, SEASON’S CHANGE, and UNWRITTEN RULES thrown in. Very good!
I just finished reading The Tiffany Girls by Shelley Noble. It is a fabulous read, I loved it.
The Love Wager by Lynn Painter
Did you enjoy it? I have that on my TBB list.
Over the past week ~
— Some of It Was Real by Nan Fischer; I finished it one day and quite enjoyed it. This book had mystery, romance, a dog, a cat, and a psychic-medium. What more could one want?!
— For my local book group, Code Name Hélène by Ariel Lawhon; I quite enjoyed this novel based on the life of a woman who aided the French resistance. Be aware that it is set in Europe during the 1930s and 1940s and there are several scenes of extreme violence.
— reread The Martian: A Novel by Andy Weir for the nth time and enjoyed it once again.
— read a fun book last night that had been given to me ~ Someone has to set a bad example: An Anne Taintor Collection by Anne Taintor. It’s a collection of retro images with captions that had me laughing.
