I’m reading/listening to a few books this week. I’m reading Ancient Vengeance (Ancients Rising #6) by Katie Reus. I am really enjoying it so far. Yay for dragons! I’m also rereading Rock Addiction (Rock Kiss #1) by Nalini Singh. It’s one of my favorite contemporaries.
After listening to Archangel’s Resurrection (Guild Hunter #15) by Nalini Singh, I decided to listen to Archangel’s Enigma (Guild Hunter #8). I don’t remember reading that one, even though I know I did. It’s probably my favorite non-Raphael/Elena book. Nassir & Andi were perfection. I then listened to Archangel’s Heart (Guild Hunter #9) & am now listening to Archangel’s War (Guild Hunter #12).

I’m still crazy busy at work, so I spent most of the week listening to the Kate Daniels series. I finished Magic Rises, Magic Breaks, Magic Shifts, Magic Binds and Magic Triumphs. Then I started the Gates of Myth and Power series by K.M. Shea. I finished The King’s Captive, book 1, and am currently reading The King’s Shadow, book 2.
I’m reading UNWRITTEN RULES, an m/m baseball romance by KD Casey. It’s very good.
Over the past week ~
— Four Kings (A Very Secret Garden Book 2) by Karan K Anders which I enjoyed. This is part two in a series and necessitates the reading of the first book, The Book of Firsts. Karan K Anders is a pseudonym used by author Andrea K. Höst for her books for adults.
— Bewilderment: A Novel by Richard Powers for my local book group. This was a sad book (and when Flowers for Algernon was mentioned, I knew that did not bode well).
— decided to reread the first book in that series above, The Book of Firsts (A Very Secret Garden 1) by Karan K Anders. I enjoyed it once again.
