I finished up Katie Reus’ Darkness series, which I absolutely adored. Darkness Rising was the 8th and final book and my favorite book in the series. Now I’m reading Kiss of Fire (Dragonfire #1) by Deborah Cooke. This is a new-to-me author & I’m enjoying it so far!

I’m listening to Devil in Spring (The Ravenels #3) by Lisa Kleypas. I am enjoying Pandora & Gabriel immensely. I’ve found myself laughing out loud while driving down the road. It’s such a sweet story.

I read and listened to Dance with the Devil by Kit Rocha this week. I really enjoyed it. Aside from that I just re-read a few books.

I’m currently reading Captivated by Lauren Dane.

What are you reading this week? Any new favorites or books that drove you crazy? Share!

I’m reading EXTORTION—it’s the second of Amelia Wilde’s Controlling Interest trilogy, a dark romance about a troubled CEO and his former employee.

    Over the past week ~

    — the graphic novel Fangs by Sarah Andersen. This was a very quick and highly enjoyable read about a relationship between a vampire and a werewolf. I laughed a lot while reading this and shared quite a few snippets with my husband.
    — Artifact Space by Miles Cameron which I’d describe as military science fiction featuring a young female main character. I almost put this aside in the first chapter, but I’m glad I persevered as I did enjoy it. I look forward to reading the next book when it is published. Incidentally, this is currently 99¢ for US Kindle readers.
    — completed my reread of the Class 5 series with Dark Minds, Dark Matters, Dark Class, and the Dark Class Bonus Epilogue all by Michelle Diener. I enjoyed them all.

I just finished Amalie Howard’s The Duke in Question a super hot civil war/Victorian spy adventure that I totally loved. I also loved Grace Burrowes’ Miss Dauntless and really enjoyed Folk Around and Find Out. I finished Duke in a Box anthology and most of the stories were entertaining but there were a couple that didn’t quite measure up in my opinion.
