I was on vacation for a week and only managed to finish one book. Though if I had to choose a book to read, it would definitely be Storm Echo (Psy-Changeling Trinity #6) by Nalini Singh. It is one of my favorite of the series. Nalini really outdid herself with this one.

I got nostalgic when reading Storm Echo so I decided to get Slave to Sensation (Psy-Changeling #1) by Nalini Singh. It remains my single favorite of the series to date.

I was also on vacation last week and didn’t get much read. I finished reading An Unexpected Cowboy by Shannon Stacey, which was cute, and re-reading Shield of Winter by Nalini Singh. I read No More Secrets and Fall Into Temptation by Lucy Score, the first two books in the Blue Moon series.

I’m currently reading book 3, The Last Second Chance.

What are you reading this week? Any new favorites or books that drove you crazy? Share!

I just finished Serena Bell’s A LITTLE WILDER. It’s well-written but I don’t know, in our current social climate, if I can read the “unplanned pregnancy” trope without steam coming out of my ears knowing what many women now face if they get pregnant unexpectedly.

I’m now reading Karla Sorensen’s THE CRUSH. It’s a second-chance romance between a professional football player and the woman he let slip away years before.

    Over the past week ~

    — For ten days, I read thirty-five or so pages of The Invention of Nature: Alexander von Humboldt’s New World by Andrea Wulf for my local book group. This was an incredibly detailed book about a man of whom I’d known nothing, and (after a bit of a slow start) I quite enjoyed it.
    — enjoyed The Suite Spot by Trish Doller which features the sister of the heroine of the author’s Float Plan but which can stand alone. I think it’s described as women’s fiction, but it seemed like a romance to me.
    — reread Murmuration by TJ Klune which I enjoyed once more. If you know the author from his recent popular The House in the Cerulean Sea be aware that this book has a different vibe that is, at times, reminiscent of the Twilight Zone.
    — read Mary Balogh’s newest historical romance ~ Remember Love (A Ravenswood Novel Book 1). I enjoyed it, but the premise was a little farfetched.
