I just finished Phantom Shadows by Dianne Duvall this morning. I will be starting In Still Darkness which is a novella in the series. I’m also rereading Ride Steady by Kristen Ashley and listening to The Secret by Julie Garwood.

I finished Ruby Fever by Ilona Andrews, which I enjoyed. I also finished The Wedding by Julie Garwood, then listened to Saving Grace. I re-read Night Unbound by Dianne Duvall and Fairytale Come Alive by Kristen Ashley.

I’m still reading Deadly Knight by Annabel Chase and I started Dark Class by Michelle Diener, the latest Class 5 release. I’m early into it, but enjoying it so far.

What are you reading this week? Any new favorites or books that drove you crazy? Share!

I just discovered this week that Eve Dangerfield had released a new book, FIRST AND FOREMOST, featuring a “fake relationship” between an Australian football player and a musician/DJ. As much as I like Dangerfield, this one hasn’t really grabbed me yet. Meanwhile, I’m gulping down an older (2018) Sarina Bowen, GOODBYE PARADISE, an m/m romance between two young men who escape from a religious cult.

I have to correct myself: the title of the Dangerfield is FIRST AND FOREVER.

Also, GOODBYE, PARADISE was originally published in 2015.

    Over the past week ~

    — A Feather To Fly With (Regency Charades Book 1) by Joyce Harmon was an entertaining regency romance featuring a con-woman heroine. I would happily read more by this author.
    — enjoyed a young adult science fiction novel, Telepath (Hive Mind Book 1) by Janet Edwards, though I admit that I preferred the author’s Earth Girl series. Were the follow on books present themselves, I’d happily read on.
    — reread Double Share, Captain’s Share, and Owner’s Share by Nathan Lowell.
These are books 4 to 6 in a science fiction slice of life series. You’ve got to admire an author who can start book one with the same line that he uses to end book six!
    — Run by Ann Patchett for my book group. I enjoyed the book (even though aspects strained credulity) and found it a quick read.
    — Earth and Air: An Earth Girl Novella by Janet Edwards which is a prequel to a young adult series I recently read.
