I finished Darkest Heart (Dominion #1) by Juliette Cross. It really pulled me in & makes me want to read more in the series. I’m currently reading Never Seduce a Scot (Montgomerys and Armstrongs #1) by Maya Banks. I can’t believe how much I am absolutely loving this book. Eveline as a heroine is up there with Garwood heroines for me. Definitely worth the read.

I’m listening to Emerald Blaze (Hidden Legacy #5) by Ilona Andrews. I am ambivalent toward Catalina. I just don’t care about her one way or the other. I’m liking her far more in this book that I ever have. Catalina is finally showing some spine, which makes me very happy.

I’ve re-read a couple books, but I haven’t finished a new book this week. I am finally listening to Bombshell by Sarah Maclean. I’m really enjoying it so far. Fingers crossed I’m able to finish it this weekend.

What are you reading this week? Any new favorites or books that drove you crazy? Share!

I just started Garrett Leigh’s m/m romance, HEARTSCAPE, which is part of the Vino & Veritas series from Sarina Bowen’s Heart Eyes Press imprint. This is my first Leigh and I’m liking it, although there is an element of insta-love/lust that seems odd considering both MCs have a lot of other things going on in their lives.

I finally read The Kiss Quotient and loved it! I’m currently reading and loving Grace Burrowes’ Miss Dignified (actually a reread since I was lucky enough to get an ARC).

    Over the past week ~

    — The Bridge Ladies: A Memoir by Betsy Lerner for my online book group. I enjoyed the book, and we had a lively discussion. Interestingly, my local book group will be discussing the same book in a couple of weeks, and I’m curious to see how different/similar the conversation will be.
    — Miss Percy’s Pocket Guide (to the Care and Feeding of British Dragons) by Quenby Olson. This was a charming book; it’s a mix of a historical romance (with a heroine in her forties) and fantasy. It would be a fine read for a teen or an adult. I look forward to reading on in the series.
    — reread Dark Horse (Class 5 Series Book 1) and Dark Deeds (Class 5 Series Book 2) both by Michelle Diener. These are science fiction romances. ** @Holly, I blame/thank you for mentioning this series. **
    — enjoyed Sarina Bowen’s prequel Super Hot Wingman
