I’ve been reading a ton of MC romances. I finished up Devney Perry’s Tin Gypsy series. I’m just waiting for Tin Queen, which is the last book in the series. I’m super excited to read it. I’ve gone back to Jessica Gadziala’s Henchmen MC series. I’m reading Repo & am really enjoying it. It’s about a female prospect which is something I haven’t read before.
I’m still listening to Eternal by Lisa Scottoline. The narrators are fantastic, but I’m not much of a historical fiction person.
Holly
I finished listening to Ain’t She a Peach by Molly Harper, then finished out the series by listening to Save a Truck, Ride a Redneck. I definitely recommend the series if you’re in the mood for fun Southern contemporary romance.
I finished reading Everlong by Hailey Edwards, then read the next two books in the series, Evermine and Eversworn. This is not my favorite series from Edwards. I enjoyed certain aspects of each book, but I doubt I will ever re-read them.

This week is for reading my book club book and I finished my re-read of our July book last night. We’re reading Lady Derring Takes a Lover by Julie Anne Long and though I read it not too long ago, I still really enjoyed it this time around. Today, I plan on stepping away from my computer for an hour and actually take a lunch break to start the second book in this series, Angel in a Devil’s Arms. I’m pretty sure that I’ll enjoy that book as well so I’m excited to start it.
I’m reading Sarina Bowen’s latest True North book, WAYLAID, which I would classify more as Romantic Suspense rather than Romance. Both MCs have scary, unresolved incidents in their pasts: the heroine has an abusive ex who destroyed her position at a prestigious university; the hero suffered a severe brain injury and has lost six months of his memory (including his first meeting with the heroine). There’s so much dramatic (as opposed to sexual) tension in the book, it’s making me anxious. Well-written, but more suspense than romance.
Casee: Don’t forget Kati Wilde’s Hellfire Riders MC romances. They’re really good—and all are available on KU.
It’s been a super slow reading week for me. Which is weird since I messed up my knee and can’t do anything…. I’m working my way through Hello Rogue – an anthology (I’ve been doing so for 3 weeks now), I just finished Princess Stakes by Amalie Howard and Loved it! I made the mistake of reading the preview for the next book in the series and am dying to read it!!! I also finished Anna Harrington’s An Extraordinary Lord and loved it as well.
@Glenda M, sending good thoughts that your knee recuperate quickly.

Over the past week ~
— The Hands of the Emperor by Victoria Goddard. The book is just over 900 pages, so it was quite a time commitment! I’d seen this title on lists comparing it to (and for fans of) The Goblin Emperor; there are some commonalities. I quite enjoyed the book and look forward to reading more by the author.
— Edge of Nowhere by Felicia Davin. It was an enjoyable m/m science fiction romance, but the story felt incomplete and I don’t feel like buying the sequel.
— and a boatload of samples.
