What Are You Reading? (544)

Casee: I am currently reading Lady Luck by Kristen Ashley. It is the third book in KA’s Colorado Mountain series. I’m not that far into it, but I am really liking it so far. It’s funny, intense, and just plain lovely. I’m really looking forward to getting some reading time in this weekend. Hopefully I’ll be able to finish it. Fingers crossed.

I don’t really read historicals anymore, but I really enjoy listening to them. I’m listening to Marrying Winterborne by Lisa Kleypas and am really, really enjoying the story as well as the narrator. I’m hoping to listen to some more today.

Holly: I finished Lord of Temptation by Lorraine Heath and that’s it. I haven’t even started another book or re-read anything. It’s been a week, y’all. Fingers crossed next week is better.

What are you reading this week? Any new favorites or books that drove you crazy? Share!

My favorite read this week as an oldie, Sarah Mayberry’s SUDDENLY YOU (from 2014), about a woman who falls for her ex’s (and baby-daddy’s) best friend. A beautifully-written book about decent people trying to do the right thing.

    Since last time ~

    — read Boundary Haunted (Boundary Magic) by Melissa F. Olson. You’d need to read the series in order as this volume builds on its predecessors.
    — the novella Bloodsick: An Old World Tale by Melissa F. Olson. It’s in the same world as the book I mentioned above, but it stands alone. You can read it for FREE in The Witching Hour: 10 Enchanting Novels Featuring Witches, Wizards, Vampires, Shifters, Ghosts, Fae, and More!
    — the contemporary romance You Lucky Dog by Julia London; it was entertaining and made me laugh aloud a few times.
    — a reread of Anne Bishop’s Lake Silence (The World of the Others); I enjoyed it once again.
    — and a boatload of samples.
