Casee: Nothing. Zero. Zilch. Nada. This is getting old.
Holly: I didn’t have much reading time this week. I’d ended up doing some re-reads and that’s it. Here’s hoping next week is better.
Rowena: It’s the last What Are You Reading post for 2017. Are you guys ready for the new year? I know that I am. I’m ready to see the end of 2017. With that said, I didn’t read much this week. Just one book and I finished it right before the end of the month which is good, considering it’s a buddy review for December. Ha. Sorry, Holly. I read and enjoyed Complicated by Kristen Ashley. Hix and Greta were great and though it was a long story, I still enjoyed the heck out of it. Next up for me is Man Candy by Jessica Lemmon but I’m taking the weekend to prep my planners, binge watch some shows and watch movies so I won’t start a book until Monday.
What are you reading this week? Any new favorites or books that drove you crazy? Share!
Happy New Year to you all!
Some recent reads here ~
— I quite enjoyed In The Absence Of Light by Adrienne Wilder which is a contemporary male/male romance. One of the heroes is an artist/bus boy who is autistic; the other hero is a man who was a smuggler.
— enjoyed Rachel Gibson’s newest contemporary romance The Art of Running in Heels which had me chuckling from time to time.
— re-read (though I didn’t realize it until I’d finished the first chapter) an enjoyable historical romance by Mary Balogh ~ Christmas Belle.
— I’m currently re-reading Andy Weir’s The Martian.
FYI: Currently free for Kindle readers, two books that I enjoyed ~

and
Sarina Bowen’s The Year We Hid Away https://www.amazon.com/Year-We-Hid-Away-Romance-ebook/dp/B00KLIMUTA/ref=sr_1_1_twi_kin_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1514588003&sr=1-1&keywords=bowen+sarina+year+we+hid
haha yeah its the end of the year and I think everyone is taking a break from reading. This week is the busiest week for blogging for me, so I am too busy writing up end of year posts to read too much. But I did just finish Ravage by Tillie Cole and currently reading Wildfire by Ilona Andrews. So not too bad of a reading week.
Happy New Year!
I read a few books this week, yay! I haven’t read any holiday books this year and I was really craving some before the season was over, so I started the Klaus Brothers series by Penny Watson, about the sons of Santa. It is so stupid and a little problematic in parts but it has been scratching the holiday itch for me, ha. I’ve read the first 3 so far. Then I read a review copy of the fourth Blood of the Drakon book. I was so excited for it but honestly it was disappointing. Boo.
Happy New Year everyone!
