The First Weekend in June – What Are You Reading?

Holly: My kids still have another week of school left. I will be So.Freaking.Glad when the school year is over. I’m ready for summer vacation already. I’ve been on a small break from reading. I read 31 books last month and decided I needed a breather. I started One Good Reason by Sarah Mayberry last night, but was too tired to read more than a few pages. I’m planning to finish it today.

Rowena: It’s been a pretty crazy busy first week of June for me but I still managed to get some reading done. I just finished Courtney Milan’s Unlocked which was so good, especially since it was so short. I’m in a historical mood so I think I’m going to start reading Silk is for Seduction by Loretta Chase next.

Casee: I’m reading Sinful Magic by Jennifer Lyon. This is different from the rest in that the heroine doesn’t want to be a witch; has in fact done everything to let her magic die out. Just when she’s almost there, she meets Key and that all goes to you-know-where. I have other books waiting including the new Nora Roberts that I forgot I had. That’s always a sure thing. Then again, I’m all about the Kindle lately so it maybe Juliana Stone or Lori Foster.

  1. I’m still trying to figure out what I want to read next, but I’ve finished In Love and War by Suzanne Barrett, Almost Home by Maria Stewart, Ring of Lies by Rachael Lynne, Downstroke by Desiree Holt, and Declaring Spinsterhood by Jamie Lynn Braziel.
