Rowena: We’re heading into the third week of February and so far, every book that I’ve read this month has been by Nalini Singh. Like Holly, I can’t seem to stay away from her books.
This week I read Rock Hard and then I re-read Rock Courtship. I LOVED Rock Hard and I LOVED Rock Courtship again. Both were such great additions to the Rock Kiss series and I’m more than a little anxious for more. I kind of want Gabriel’s brother Danny’s book.
This is what he looks like in my head:
That’s one hot ass Samoan rugby player right there. So if you’re reading this Nalini Singh, think about it? 🙂 🙂 🙂
I can’t seem to finish Mine to Possess because Tally keeps making me roll my eyes. She’s kind of off putting and I have to keep putting the book down because something she does or says annoys me. So that’s what I’m going to finish this weekend then I’ll probably be reading another Nalini Singh book. Ha!
Holly: This was a slow reading week for me. I finished Singh’s psy/changeling series. Tangle of Need, Heart of Obsidian and Shield of Winter. I’m sad that I don’t have any more to read. I also read Rock Hard by Singh, her upcoming contemporary release.
Now I think I’m going to read Midnight’s Kiss by Thea Harrison.
What are you reading this week?
I have been plowing my way through C.S. Harris’ Sebastian St Cyr mystery series and enjoying it a lot. There are nine books published and I am on book 6. There is a gentle romance going on in the background . . . 😀
Sounds like a good time. It also sounds like what Holly and I are going through with Nalini Singh. Is it the year of the glom? Hmm. Maybe.
I did try to stop after book 5 and read something else, so as to make the books last . . . got to page 30 or so and gave up and went back to Sebastian! 😛
I just read the new Jill Shalvis, Still the One. I am hoping you guys read that one too. It’s from the Animal Magnetism series which is my favorite but I just…wasn’t really into it, which bummed me out. I’m interested to hear what other people thought!
Hey Jen! I have this book to read but haven’t been in the mood for it but I’ll get it read soon and we can discuss.
*whine* why do you get to read Rock Hard already? *cries*
Not only read it – but brag about it too! 😀
I know!! Adding insult to injury right there.
Sorry, I was so excited to read it that I did.
Did you like it?
I’m gonna throw out a wild guess and say, “yes, she did”
I did. I really liked it. 🙂
Braggart! 😀
