I read Caressed by Ice by Nalini Singh and I loved it so much that I immediately started Mine to Possess afterward. My plan was to read CBI and then move on to a review book so that I wouldn’t glom the series but like Holly, I just can’t help myself and I stopped trying to hold myself back. So, sorry review pile but it’s Psy-Changeling time.
I’m still reading Mine to Possess and then after this one? Not sure…probably the next book in the series.
Holly: I’m still binge-reading the Psy-Changeling series. This week I read Bonds of Justice, Play of Passion, Kiss of Snow and started Tangle of Need. I’m really loving the overall story progression. The breakdown of Silence, the escalating hostilities between the humans, changelings and Psy and the upcoming Psy civil war are really what make the series.
I also read Mate Bond by Jennifer Ashley. I was really looking forward to it, but I can’t decide how I felt about it. I need to think about the suspense part of the story before I make a final judgement call.
I also re-read The Return of Eden McCall by Judith Duncan, an old category rom that I love.

As for me…I finished Mr Irresistible, the third of Karina Bliss’ Lost boys (review coming soon-ish). Then I devoured Grace Draven’s Radiance (I blame Carolyn). I read Flesh by Kylie Scott (liked, must review soon, and I blame the SFR Galaxy Awards). And in the middle of all the above, I re-read Heart Change and Heart Fate (reviews also coming up soon-ish–and I totally blame Holly)

I have been reading a historical mystery series by C S Harris – the Sebastien St Cyr mysteries. Have read the first two and really enjoyed them – onto book 3! The quietly simmering romance part is hotting up a little 😉

My newest author crush is Katt Martin, I’m reading Against the Law, the third book in her Raines of Wind Canyon series. I read the first two books back to back, and then took a quick break to read Mean Streak by Sandra Brown, which I absolutely loved. I think it’s now one of my favorites of hers. And on my Kindle app I’m also reading Protective Custody by Natasha Knight.
And now I’ll confess that I haven’t read any of the Psy-Changeling series, though I’ve heard a lot about it.
I tried reading the Psy/Changeling books when they were first released and couldn’t get into them. They’re working much better for me this time around. The world building is the big draw. It’s complex and interesting.
