Rowena: I haven’t been reading very much lately. This week I only read two books and once again, I suck. I did read some good books though. I started the week off with Take Me On by Katie McGarry which was another great addition to the Pushing the Limits series and then I read He’s So Fine by Jill Shalvis. Loved it. Loved Olivia and I really loved Cole. Awesome story.
Now I’m not sure what I’m going to read. Maybe Tease by Amanda Maciel? Not sure.
Holly: My reading has been slow, too. I don’t know what I want to read, so I’m picking up then discarding a lot of books. I’m kind of the in the mood for romances featuring rock stars, but good ones seem to be few and far between. If you have recommendations, let me know.
I did a re-read of At Peace, then read The Promise by Kristen Ashley (the two are connected). I’ve been looking forward to Benny and Frankie’s book for a long time. Sadly, I was disappointed. I think I’ve reached full KA burnout. We’re going on a break.
Rock Star’s Girl by Jennifer Farwell and Meeting Trouble by Emme Rollins were both free downloads featuring rockers. Neither did much for me.
Yesterday I read Running Back by Alison Parr. I really liked it, though I wish there had been more football (the hero is a professional player).
I haven’t decided what to read next.
What are you reading this week?
If you are looking for rock star books, have you tried Kylie Scott’s Stage Dive books? The first one is Play and the second is Lick. I loved both of them.
I also read The Promise by Kristen Ashley and, while I enjoyed it, I’ve enjoyed other KA books more.
Currently reading Mary Jo Putney’s Not Quite a Wife (The Lost Lords).
