How is it the end of March already? On Sunday my baby turns 13. I’m so depressed! I hate it that kids grow up so fast. Planning any pranks for April Fool’s? Since that’s the day my son was born and he isn’t a joke, we don’t celebrate. I do get a kick out of the jokes others play, though.
My reading has been really slow this week. I re-read a couple novels (skim re-reading, not full re-reading) this week and that’s about it. Yesterday I started Midnight Rescue by Elle Kennedy. I’m about halfway through. It isn’t grabbing me as much as I thought it would. The heroine is driving me nuts.
I also started Hunter’s Fall by Shiloh Walker. I started reading Hunter’s Rise, her upcoming Hunter novel, and realized I was behind. This is Nessa’s story. I’m only a few pages in, but I expect I’ll like it. I’ve been waiting to read this story forever (no idea how I missed it the first time around).
Rowena: I’m late to the party, sorry. I’ve been running around all day today like a crazy lady. I am probably that crazy lady but I wanted to stop in really quick to say that I haven’t really been reading much but I am reading Hot Under Pressure by Louisa Edwards. I’m really enjoying this series and am stoked to be reading Beck’s story. I adored him in the other books and am loving him even more now.
What are you reading?
Rowena, I am really looking forward to reading Beck’s story.
At the moment I am reading Rogue Pirates Bride by Shana Galen. It’s been a while since I read a pirate romance so it’s been fun so fr.
Sara Humphreys Untouched
I have read like a crazy person who doesn’t need sleep (oh, if only!)
I read Lisa Kleypas’ Someone to Watch Over Me and Lady Sophia’s Lover in the past two days, and I’m very sad that I haven’t found Dreaming of You anywhere around here yet.
Beyond Innocence by Emma Holly. Like it a lot, so far. Very evocative writing.
