Rowena: It’s been a hectic week for me but that didn’t stop me from getting my reading on. This week I read The Bikini Car Wash by Pamela Morsi which I enjoyed, I read Always a Baker, Never a Bride by Sandra D. Bricker which was interesting and because I’ve been itching to read another historical, I picked up Wedding of the Season by Laura Lee Guhrke and that’s what I’m reading right now. So far, so good. We’ll see how I like it after I finish.
Holly: I’m still in this weird reading funk. I’m in the middle of several books and nothing seems to be grabbing me. I started Wedding of the Season by Laura Lee Guhrke, A Bewitching Bride by Elizabeth Thornton and The Best of Friends by Susan Mallery. I just can’t seem to focus. I did re-read two of my favorite Linda Howard novels, Cry No More and Now You See Her. I might have to read another LH. We’ll see.
Casee: It’s been an awesome reading week for me. I read finished two JoAnn Ross books. Today has been such a great day to read. The husband and kids are gone, it’s raining outside and I’ve been reading since I woke up. I finished No Place to Run by Maya Banks and it was amazing. I love the KGI series and cannot wait for more. I just started Ride the Fire by Jo Davis. After that, I’ll start Crave by J.R. Ward which I just picked up from the library yesterday.
I just finished Indigo Knights: Squire by Jet Mykles and quite enjoyed it. Now I’m reading Midnight Crystal by Jayne Castle. Always a fave author for me.
I’m gonna say off the bat that I am soooo frickon’ jelus you are reading the new LLG. I want!
That said, I am reading and enjoying Zoe Archer’s ‘Warrior’. Not sure what to hit up next though. I may re-read Jeaniene Frosts ‘Cat & Bones’ series or hit up a Blaze.
Holly, I just finished Cry No More a few days ago. What an amazing book! I really thought Howard was going to let me down and was so thrilled when she didn’t.
Coincidentally, I am also reading Pamela Morsi – Courting Miss Hattie. Not your run of the mill story, as usual — if that makes any sense! — willaful
Rowena, I read The Bikini Car Wash when it came out and loved it! Pamela Morsi’s other contemporary fiction titles are very good too. I would recommend Bitsy’s Bait and BBQ, The Cotton Queen, and The Last Dance at Jitterbug Lounge.
This week I read Rescuing Rose by Isabel Wolff, Prudence by Jilly Cooper, Savor the Moment by Nora Roberts, Heartbreaker, A Roomful of Roses and After the Music, all three books are by Diana Palmer. What’s on this weeks reading list is up in the air. We’ll see what catches my eye!
I like how you do this post! I am also checking out the titles that you have listed here!
I love the name of your blog…perfect 🙂 Nice list of books you’ve read this week. I’m currently reading an action packed paranormal thriller called “Stronger Than Sin” by author Caridad Piñeiro. It’s an intriguing mix of romance, paranormal, science fiction and medical suspense. I can’t read fast enough.
I finished two rereads: What I Did for Love (SEP) and Northern Lights (Nora Roberts). I’m reading Crave by J.R. Ward but left it in my desk drawer on Friday so picked up Sherry Thomas’s His at Night. Not quite halfway with each so now must decide which to finish first. Also have a little Love Inspired McCaslin Homecoming by Jillian Hart in the bathroom. Trying to decide if it’s too Christian for this Jew.
