I am reading the Kings of Sin series by Ana Huang. She is a new-to-me author and I’m seriously loving these books. I finished King of Wrath (Kings of Sin #1) and absolutely loved it! I’m now reading King of Pride (Kings of Sin #2) and I’m loving this one too.
I’m rereading the Mercury Pack series by Suzanne Wright on audio. I’m currently listening to Echoes of Fire (Mercury Pack #4).

I listened to the Innkeeper Chronicles Graphic Audiobooks this week. I liked them, though not as much as the Kate Daniels Graphic Audios.
I recently discovered a new-to-me paranormal romance author, Reece Barden. I read 3 books in the Shifters of Grey Ridge series: The Alpha’s Saviour, The Alpha’s Revival, The Alpha’s Quest and The Alpha’s Mystery. There is a spin-off series, The Steel Pack, but the timeline is strange. The first book of the Steel Pack series, The Chase, takes place directly after the third book of The Shifters of Grey Ridge series ends. I’m kind of just picking them up at random at this point.
I also read two books in the Cherry Tree Harbor series by Melanie Harlow, Runaway Love and Hideaway Heart. They’re pretty quick reads, so I’ll probably continue the series, though I am enjoying the paranormals right now.
Over the past week ~
— For my book, I read Deacon King Kong by James McBride. It took me a while to get caught up in the story set in 1969, but I ended up quite enjoying it.
— Birds of a Feather: Bowerbirds and Me
by Susan L. Roth was an enjoyable picture book by a collage artist who compared herself and her art to a bower bird creating his nest.
— reread Stray (Touchstone Book 1) by Andrea K. Höst as I am planning to make a bookmark for a friend who also likes this science fiction work. This book is currently free for Kindle readers.
— enjoyed Maz, Origin by T. L. Ford which is about an exceedingly bright fourteen year old raised from birth in a prison city on a slightly alternative earth and her life after her escape/rescue. This book took a surprising turn at about the halfway point when aliens landed on earth.
— read the contemporary male/male romance Coast to Coast (Arizona Raptors Book 1) by RJ Scott and V.L. Locey which was a pleasant read featuring a hockey coach and one of three brothers who has inherited ownership of a hockey team.
