I’ve been reading a lot of J.T. Gessinger recently. I read Wicked Beautiful (Wicked Games #1) & Burn for You (Slow Burn #1), which I really loved. I’m currently reading Shadow’s Edge (Night Prowler #1). It’s a shifter series that I am really enjoying. I just love the emotion that is packed in her books. She’s a really good writer & always pulls me right in.
I’m listening to Hunted (Dark in You #9) by Suzanne Wright. You guys, I adore this series. I can’t say enough good things about it.

I read Here Be Sexiest Vampires, Consumed and Fractured by Suzanne Wright, all books in the Deep in Your Veins series. I’m kind of having decision paralysis about what to read next. I want more PNR, but nothing I pick up grabs me.
I just started Melanie Harlow’s HIDEAWAY HEART, the next book in her Cherry Tree Harbor series. This one features enforced proximity between a country music singer and the former Navy SEAL who is acting as her bodyguard. My decision to read the book had nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with the smoking-hot cover model (even with the badly airbrushed tattoos, he really is a honey), lol.
Yes, I can see how you had to make a real effort to open that book, @DDD!
Over the past week ~
— read Remember Me by Mary Balogh; this is a historical romance in which the female lead overhears the ultimate hero make a disparaging remark about her. Part of it strained credulity, but it did grab my attention and made me teary eyed near the end.
— read a contemporary m/m novella, A New Pack For New Year by Kiki Clark, which was a pleasant read. This featured an abused werewolf joining a new pack and finding his mate.
— Last month, for my distant book group, I read The Dictionary of Lost Words by Pip Williams. I just reread it for my local book group and enjoyed it once again.
— just finished a book that I quite enjoyed, Happiness for Beginners by Katherine Center. It’s about a recently divorced woman who decides to go on a wilderness survival course in an effort to make positive changes in her life. The best friend of her annoying younger brother signs up for the same course. This book made me laugh aloud, but it also had depth and poignancy.
