I finished up the Bootleg Springs series by Lucy Score and Claire Kingsley. Now I’m reading Faking Ms. Right (Dirty Martini Running Club #1) by Claire Kingsley. I’m really liking it so far. It’s exactly what I’ve been enjoying lately. Short, sweet & funny.

I am still listening to Highland Conquest (Sons of Sinclair #1) by Heather McCollum. So far, so good.

I finished Darkness Dawns by Dianne Duvall and started the next book in the series, Night Reigns, on audio. I also read The Queen’s Gambit by Jessie Mahilik and started The Queen’s Advantage. I’m enjoying both series.

What are you reading this week? Any new favorites or books that drove you crazy? Share!

I’ve been reading Grace Burrowes’s new mystery series the Lady Violet Mysteries and enjoying them.

    Since last week ~

    — stayed up late reading Prisoner by Lia Silver; I enjoyed it, but it definitely ends on a cliffhanger. I see that I’ve owned the book since 2014, so it was definitely time!
    — then read Laura’s Wolf (Werewolf Marines Book 1) by Lia Silver which I enjoyed. The characters deal with PTSD, and a note indicates that the author is a therapist who treats such patients in real life.
    — very much enjoyed and would recommend The Universe Versus Alex Woods by Gavin Extence. (One caution is that the book deals with SPOILER ALERTassisted suicideEND SPOILER.) I just noticed that the book is currently on sale for $1.99 for US Kindle readers.
    — a reread of The Goblin Emperor by Katherine Addison; this is a favorite book! Note: It’s currently on sale for US Kindle readers for $2.99.

I’m reading Julie Kriss’s DUET. It’s a rock star romance, but I can always rely on Kriss to bring something new to a worn-out trope. I like that the MCs are older (late-thirties) and the hero was never a massive superstar—the band he was part of was mid-level famous.
