After reading Immortal’s Honor by Rebecca Zanetti, I decided to dive into her Realm Enforcers series. I am currently reading Wicked Ride, which is book one. I’m really enjoying it so far. The heroine is pretty bad ass.
I’m still listening to older JG releases on audio. I thought about trying a McNaught, then decided not to so I could save my sanity. I’m currently listening to The Wedding by Julie Garwood. Brenna and Connor are two of my absolutely favorites.

This week I read the Kinsmen universe books by Ilona Andrews. Silent Blade, Silver Shark, A Mere Formality and the most recent release, Fated Blades. It was great revisiting the world and I loved the new book.
I set aside The Inadequate Heir by Danielle L. Jensen. The writing and story are both wonderful so far, but it’s a very angst-filled story and I’m not in the right headspace for it. I’ll revisit it at a later date. I ended up listening to Unzipped by Lauren Blakely instead, which was just the type of lighthearted contemporary I was in the mood for.
I am currently reading Little Fire by by Hollee Mands, a new to me author. I’m enjoying it, though I haven’t had a lot of time to read so I’m not very far into it.
I just finished Tessa Bailey’s IT HAPPENED ONE SUMMER, about a social-media influencer who falls for the captain of a fishing boat. Bailey is hit-or-miss for me, but I liked this one very much.
I just started Maisey Yates’s THE COWBOY SHE LOVES TO HATE. I’m not a big fan of cowboy romances, but I like Yates’s angsty style so I’m giving this one—with a 30-year-old virgin librarian heroine—a try.
Over the past week ~
— Quicker (an Ell Donsaii story #1) by Laurence Dahners. Though it strains credulity in a number of ways, I did enjoy it. Unfortunately, none of my libraries carries the sixteen book series.
— White Trash Warlock (The Adam Binder Novels Book 1) by David R. Slayton which I quite enjoyed. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
— the novella Silver Shark (The World of Kinsmen Book 2) by Ilona Andrews. It was a quick and enjoyable read.
— the contemporary male/male romance novella The Best Gift by Eli Easton which I quite enjoyed.
— Last year I enjoyed My Ideal Bookshelf by Thessaly La Force and Jane Mount. I was quite interested to see that Jane Mount had collaborated on a new book, Bibliophile: Diverse Spines by Jamise Harper and Jane Mount. I enjoyed it and would recommend reading this in paper format to best enjoy the art. As you may surmise, the book celebrates diverse authors and their works.
I really need to start The Bridge Kingdom series!
