I’m reading Garrett’s Destiny (Dark Protectors #15) by Rebecca Zanetti. I’m hoping to finish it up today. It’s really good so far. I’m also reading The Viper (Black Dagger Brotherhood: Prison Camp #3) by J.R. Ward. I’m about halfway through it and am not sure how I feel about it yet.
I’m listening to Wolf Rain (Psy-Changeling Trinity #3) by Nalini Singh. I love the narrator.

I haven’t had a lot of reading time lately. I listened to White Hot and Wildfire by Ilona Andrews and re-read Repeat by Kylie Scott, then started a new SciFi series, Lords of Destra by Ella Blake. I read the prequel novella, Found by the Alien Lord, then books 1-3, Lost to the Alien Lord, Bound to the Alien Lord and Fated to the Alien Lord. I started the 4th book, Craved by the Alien Lord, but have only managed to read a couple of chapters. These are quick, light reads. Nothing ground-breaking, but I’m enjoying them.
I’m trying to catch up on the Sweep of the Heart serial by Ilona Andrews before they pull it from their site. I plan to buy the book once it’s released, of course, but I want to finish the story now anyway. I’ve been listening to The Warrior King by Abigail Owen on audio, but I’m giving up. I just don’t care for the narrators. I’ll try to finish reading it at a later date.
I’m reading FORCE OF NATURE by Skye Warren & Amelia Wilde. A photographer hires a pilot to take her to her next assignment, but the plane is sabotaged and crashes on a deserted island, where she discovers that the pilot is more than he seems and the island may not be as deserted as they initially thought. If you might be interested in FORCE OF NATURE, the first few chapters are available in a novella titled THE CRASH, free in the Kindle Store. Love
Over the past week ~
— The Power: A Psychic Paranormal Romance by Maggie M Lily which is second in the series after The Call which I read last week. This was an okay book, but I don’t plan to continue on.
— String Theory by Ashlyn Kane and Morgan James; I quite enjoyed this contemporary male/male romance which is set after a one year long Covid pandemic.
— for my local book group Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge and the Teachings of Plants by Robin Wall Kimmerer. This was a thought provoking read that was both lovely and saddening. I look forward to the discussion.
