I read 7 books this month.

Faking Ms. Right (Dirty Martini Running Club #1) by Claire Kingsley | 4 out of 5
Phantom Game (GhostWalkers #18) by Christine Feehan | 4 out of 5

Give Me a Reason (Redemption Hills #1) (reread) by A.L. Jackson

My favorite book of the month was Rewriting the Stars (Bailey Brothers #6) by Claire Kingsley. That book was everything I expected and more than I had hoped. My least favorite was A Warm Heart in Winter (BDB #18.5) by J.R. Ward.

I managed to finish 10 books in March, but it was a push. Things are starting to slow down for me at work, so hopefully April will be a better reading month for me.

The Queen’s Gambit (Rogue Queen #1) by Jessie Mihalik | 3 out of 5
The Queen’s Advantage (Rogue Queen #2) by Jessie Mihalik | 3 out of 5
The Queen’s Triumph (Rogue Queen #3) by Jessie Mihalik | 3 out of 5
Night Reigns (Immortal Guardians #2) by Dianne Duvall | 4 out of 5
Phantom Shadows (Immortal Guardians #3) by Dianne Duvall | 3.75 out of 5
In Still Darkness (Immortal Guardians #3.5) by Dianne Duvall | 3.5 out of 5
Moon Craving (Children of the Moon #1) (reread) by Lucy Monroe | 4 out of 5
Fated (Pack of Dawn and Destiny #3) by K.M. Shea | 3.75 out of 5
Wild Night (Midnight Empire: The Tower #1) by Annabel Chase | 3.75 out of 5
Miss Moriarty, I Presume? (Lady Sherlock #6) by Sherry Thomas | 3.75 out of 5

My favorite read of the month was Wild Night by Annabel Chase, with Miss Moriarty, I Presume? as a close second. My least favorite read of the month was The Queen’s Advantage by Jessie Mihalik. I’ve read and enjoyed other books by this author, but this series wasn’t as successful for me.

I read 14 books in March. In addition to Claire Kingsley’s REWRITING THE STARS (which I loved) and Serena Bell’s SLEEPOVER, my favorite book was Aleksandr Voinov’s BURN THIS CITY, a gritty m/m mafia romance: it involves EVERY trigger, but I still found it well-written and a great slow-burn/enemies-to-lovers.

I didn’t hate anything I read, but Riley Hart’s OFF-LIMITS, an m/m stepbrother romance, was a bit lackluster.

  2. Kareni

Some favorites ~ I read Anne Cleeland’s newest book, Murder in Immunity, which caused me to begin a reread of the Doyle and Acton series. I’m up to number ten, I think. I also enjoyed Anne Bishop’s Crowbones and the London Calling Box Set (Lost in Time) by A.L. Lester. The latter is a compilation of three historical (primarily male/male) romantic suspense works with a time travel element.

I didn’t finish a number of books so consider those my least favorites.

  3. Wendy

I liked S J Bennett’s All the Queen’s Men and Josie Silver’s One Night on the Island. I DNF’d a couple of books but I think it was me and not the books.

  4. Kim

I re-read Made in Manhattan by Lauren Layne and Sherry Thomas’ Miss Moriarty, I Presume and enjoyed both.

  5. Glenda M

I did a couple Sarah MacLean and Eloisa James re-reads, then read Sarah’s Love By The Numbers series (and Eloisa’s How to Be a Wallflower early this month). Grace Burrowes and Erica Ridley have a quartet of novellas and I read the first 3: A Tryst by the Sea; An Affair by the Sea; and A Spinster by the Sea. I enjoyed all those books. I dnf’ed a couple of freebie books that really aren’t even worth mentioning.
