Holly: I haven’t had much time to read this week. I read Secrets at Midnight, Nalini Singh’s entry in the upcoming Night Shift anthology. I stopped reading the Psy-changeling series after book 4 or 5, but this made me want to pick it back up.
The Long Way Home by Kathleen O’Brien is another novella I picked up. It’s a reunited lovers theme, which I tend to enjoy. I didn’t dislike this one, but I didn’t love it, either. I may have liked it more if it were a bit longer.
I also read Sought, book 3 in Evangeline Anderson’s Brides of the Kindred series. It was my least favorite of the 3 I read. I haven’t decided if I’ll continue with the series or not. I like the premise and the world-building, but the characters drive me crazy.
Rowena: I’m so full of fail today. I was supposed to write this up a lot earlier than right now but my day just kind of got away from me. Holly is off for the weekend and I have no one to blame but myself.
I haven’t read much of anything this week. Not a thing but I did start Whatever Life Throws at You by Julie Cross. Ames read and enjoyed it so I know that I’m going to as well. I need to leave all things stalker author alone and move on with my life. So that’s what I’m reading.
What about you? What are you reading this week?
I am rereading Fallen by Leslie Tentler – trying to spot the clues for the murderer! And then I am going to go on a Laura Griffin reread! Just love her books.
Are those RS or contemporary? I’ve never heard of Leslie Tentler and I haven’t read any Laura Griffin either.
They are both RS!
