Rowena:  I think I’ve got my reading mojo back because even though I’m still busy as all get out, I’m reading and reading and reading. This week I read I Want it That Way and The Shape of My Heart by Ann Aguirre. Right now, I’m finishing up Max’s book, The Shape of My Heart by Ann Aguirre. The series isn’t perfect but it’s still enjoyable. I mean, I can’t seem to stop reading them so I’m glad that I got to.

After I finish Max’s story which should be tonight, I think I’m going to dig into Stay with Me by J Lynn. I’m pretty anxious for that book and I’m on a New Adult kick.

Holly: I finally got my reading mojo back. I can’t tell you how happy that makes me. Not only did I read quite a few books, but I actually wanted to read. Heck, I still want to read. Yay.

First I read The Hook Up by Kristen Callihan. It was really great. There were a couple places it was bogged down, but I really loved both the main characters and the story. I cannot wait for the next book.

Since I liked that one so much, next I dove into Ann Aguirre’s new adult series, centered around college roommates of apartment 2B. I Want It That Way, The Shape of My Heart and As Long As You Love Me. While I liked all three, I struggled a bit with the heroes. They were all great, don’t get me wrong, but I didn’t really connect with them. I’d say book 3 is probably my favorite, but I really wish we’d seen more from the heroes.

I finally read Frozen by Meljean Brook (for a limited time it’s $0.99). She’d been posting chapters on her blog but I managed to restrain myself from reading them until it was finally up for sale. It was a great story. Not the type I usually read, but good.

I was in the mood for a Kristen Ashley, so I bought Three Wishes. It was better than I expected based on the blurb, though it was pretty campy in some places.

I think I’m going to start Razed by Shiloh Walker today. I’m really excited for it.

What are you reading?

If you are on an NA or college romance kick, you should try Sarina Bowen. I glommed on her series, The Ivy Years, last week after reading about them at DA. Her characters are likable and the plots don’t hinge on a big misunderstanding that separates the characters for years. When the MCs have problems with each other, they get mad, but then they actually sit down and talk to each other – it’s so refreshing to read.

  2. I am re-reading Thread of Fear by Laura Griffin. Can’t get my head into something new so going for old favourites. Also re-read Leslie Tentlers Midnight trilogy.

Got Nalini Singhs Rock Addiction but am not in the mood yet!
