Rowena: It’s been a pretty busy week for me and yet, I still read some books.  I finished reading The Destiny of Violet & Luke by Jessica Sorensen that I really enjoyed and was disappointed in at the same time.  Yeah, I know but I wasn’t a fan of the cliff-hanger ending but still I’m trying to get over it because I know that I’m going to read the next book with a quickness so yeah, this is me getting over it. =)  I also read The Ever After of Ella & Micha by Jessica Sorensen and while I did enjoy it, I’m glad that their journey has come to an end.  I don’t want their story to be dragged on and on and on.  They need to end so that Ella & Micha can enjoy their happy ending.

Ames and I made TBR Jars in an effort to crack down on our monstrous TBR piles.  You can see our jars here and here.  I picked my first book title from my jar and it was Breaking the Rules by Suzanne Brockmann, a Troubleshooters book and so far, I’m really enjoying it.  I can’t believe that I waited so long to read this one.  Ames doesn’t remember much about the book but she did mention that she didn’t really warm up to Eden in this book so I’m hoping that won’t be the case for me.  Izzy deserves a real happy ending.  He’s pretty freaking amazing.  So that’s what I’m reading right now.

Holly: This week was a pretty slow reading week for me. I read Unraveled by Jen Frederick, book three in The Woodlands series. I really liked the military theme and the romance. Her Sexiest Mistake by Jill Shalvis was really good, but I was sorry it ended. I didn’t really care for Never Stopped Loving You by Keri Ford. The hero was kind of a jerk and the heroine was a total doormat. I did like the ending, though.

Last night I started Last Hit by Jessica Clare and Jen Frederick. I got about 100 pages in before I had to quit for the night. It’s an interesting story so far, but I’m a little nervous because it shows as being 700 pages on my Nook. We’ll see how it turns out.

What are you reading this week?
