Rowena: Ever since I finished Love, Irresistibly by Julie James, I haven’t been able to read anything else. But I’m determined that this weekend, I will read Over It by Sarah Billington and Foolish Games by Tracy Solheim.
Holly: I’ve been busy with family stuff this week and haven’t had much reading time. I read Dark Legend. After reading Dark Wolf I wanted to go back and see where Skylar got her start. Dark Legend just highlighted all the problems with Dark Wolf. I’ve been re-reading Dark Guardian for the last few days. Since I’ve only had a few minutes here and there it’s slow going.
I have no idea what I’m going to read next. I feel the beginnings of a slump coming on.
What are you reading?
I just finished Julia London’s excellent and emotional contemporary A Light at Winter’s End and moving backwards to the previous story, Summer of Two Wishes, about a woman whose soldier husband returns from the dead, so now she has two husbands she loves. I’m reissuing a similar story I wrote for Temptation yrs ago, but we both took entirely different twists in the story, so I’m enjoying the early pages even though I know how it ends from reading the sequel first.
I finished Be With Me by Maya Banks and I’m incredibly glad it’s over with. I didn’t like it all that much, which is disappointing because I usually love her writing. Started Dare to Love by Carly Phillips and loving it so far. About half way through. It’s the first in her new self-published series.
