Rowena: It’s been a pretty good reading week for me. I finished The Best Man by Kristan Higgins and Also Known As by Robin Benway and now I’m gearing up to get some serious reading done over the weekend. I’ve started two books so far and will fit in a third book some time over the next couple of days. Right now, I’m reading With this Kiss Pt. 1 by Eloisa James and Seeing is Believing by Erin McCarthy. After I’m finished with these, I’ll be starting Revenge of the Girl with the Great Personality by Elizabeth Eulberg for a buddy review with Ames. I’m kind of anxious to read that one. I heart Eulberg’s books.
Holly: I spent the week reading the Guild Hunters series by Nalini Singh. I didn’t plan on reading the entire series but well, that’s what happened. Now, I’m reading a bunch of things but will buckle down and read Rising Darkness by Thea Harrison.
What are you guys reading this week?
I just started Love Drunk Cowboy, by Carolyn Brown. This is the first book in the series & I have read a few of the others out of order. Her books are pretty light, with hot cowboys. Definitely feel-good stories. BTW, I just read The Best Man, too. Loved it!
I re-read All Shook Up by Susan Andersen–I don’t know exactly why I suddenly felt that I needed to read it again, but I inhaled it so I guess the craving was right on target. Mind you, I had only read it the once before, so I have no clue how/why my subconscious zeroed in on it.
Perhaps this will be the one I finish a review for… *crossing fingers*
I also read Nalini Singh’s anthology Wild Invitation. Enjoyable, though you have to be up to the last book to get all of the references.
I’m not sure what I’m going to read next, as nothing is calling my name right now.
I haven’t read ASU in ages. I may have to pick it up. Are you planning to re-read the connected books?
Connected books? (This is the only Susan Andersen I have, actually)
Now that I think about it, that book isn’t a connected one. I was thinking of Getting Lucky, et al.
I own her entire backlist. She’s written some fabulous books. If you haven’t, you should read Exposure. The new cover makes it look rather dark, but it’s really a lovely story. The hero has a hook! <3
