Rowena: It’s been a pretty great week of reading for me so I’m hoping to keep that going. I read Love Irresistibly by Julie James (which I LOVED), I read It Had to be You by Jill Shalvis which was another good read and I just finished Second Chance at Forever by Heather Lire which was short and cute read. Now I’m going to read Ten Things We Did and Probably Shouldn’t Have by Sarah Mlynowski. I need a YA fix.
Holly: I’m on a contemporary kick this week. I read All I Ever Dreamed by Shannon Stacey, Love Irresistibly by Julie James and now I’m re-reading About That Night by Julie James. I wanted to do a re-read after finishing Love Irresistibly.
I’m thinking I need a change of pace after this week. I might read The Reunited by Shiloh Walker next. I started it a couple weeks ago but wasn’t in the mood and set it aside. Time to get back to it.
What are you reading this week?
Over the last 24 hours I have finished All He Ever Dreamed by Shannon Stacey, Portrait of a Scandal by Danielle Lisle, Mistaken Engagement by Jenny Schwartz and The One that Got Away by Kelly Hunter.
It’s been a good reading day!
I’m rereading the Virgin River series–though I’m not sure why I’m doing it *chuckle* since so many of the magical pregnancy shenanigans annoy the ever loving jeebus out of me.
Then again, there’s something a bit addictive about them–even though I remember most of the details of what happens next, I still want to see it unfold. Makes any sense?
I started Rules of Engagement by Witt, but found it really implausible and got the impression from the reviews that I’d be annoyed even further, so gave it up. Now I’m just about to start Fourth Grave… something something. You know the one. 😉 I’m enjoying catching up one some series.
Azteclady, at the end of last year I reread the first 9 books in the Virtgin River series. Despite the flaws, they are definitely addictive. I might even consider rereading the next book in the series too.
Well, I WAS going to do a reread of the first three Kowalski books so I could then read the last three. Then the #RomanceReadingConfessions tag went around twitter yesterday, and now I’ve reread Tempted by Her Innocent Kiss by Maya Banks, and I’m rereading Lisa Marie Rice’s Midnight…series, which will be immediately followed by her Protectors trilogy, and then Anne Rainey’s Hard to Get series. I tend to read the LMRs and ARs back to back to back because they all have the same feel to them. And I’m an Alpha Slut. LOL.
