Rowena: I’ve had a good reading run lately and I’m hoping that it sticks around because I’m loving all of this reading that I’m getting done, which is weird since I’m super busy with family in town for my niece’s farewell (she’s going to serve a mission for our Church in Paris, France…lucky!) and then summer weddings and every other thing under the sun. This week alone, I’ve read That Thing Called Love by Susan Andersen and Of Poseidon by Anna Banks but right now? I’m reading The Great Escape by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. I’ve only read six pages but it’s SEP…I’m over the moon!
Holly: I’m still not reading much. It’s not that I don’t want to read, I just don’t have time. My little princess is teething and demanding all my attention. It’s particularly frustrating because I’m in the middle of an awesome book – Riveted by Meljean Brook. I’m about halfway through and loving it! Someone want a baby for a few hours so I can read?
Casee I’m reading Hunter’s Rise by Shiloh Walker. It’s not holding my attention like most of the other Hunter books, which is disappointing. I read No One Left to Tell by Karen Rose and loved the characters, but the whodunit was a bit convoluted for my taste.
There are definitely no shortage of books on my Kindle, so if it continues to be slow going with Hunter’s Rise I might have to move on and come back to it. Maybe come back to it.
What are you reading?
I just finished Ravishing The Heiress by Sherry Thomas. It’s only July, but i think it’s one of the best books this year.
I’m reading Can’t Buy Me Love by Molly O’Keefe. It reminds me a lot of Blue Eyed Devil by Lisa Kleypas, one of my favorite books.
Oh Rowena, I am jealous!
I started The Siren last night. Fascinating book, I have no clue where it’s going to go.
Still reading Carla Neggers latest The Secrets of the Lost Summer.
