Rowena: It’s been a crazy week for me with my niece leaving for her mission, my kid playing at the Staples Center and then leaving for Utah to take my niece to the MTC. They’ve been gone all week and the first couple of days, I didn’t read much because I was too busy catching up on sleep but I did manage to read a couple of books. I read Such a Rush by Jennifer Echols and I’m just about done with The Great Escape by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. After I finish the SEP, I’m going to move on to Call Me Wild by Robin Kaye. I’m in a contemporary romance mood (which is the norm for me) so I’m looking for other contemporary romances to start after that one.

Holly: I read a couple books this week. I’m still not up to my normal pace, but I’m getting better. I missed reading. I read That Thing Called Love by Susan Andersen, which I enjoyed, finished Riveted by Meljean Brook which was amazing. I also read Devil’s Gate by Thea Harrison, then re-read Serpent’s Kiss and Dragon Bound (yes, in that order). I adore that series. Can’t wait for the next release.

Right now I’m in the middle of Within Reach by Sarah Mayberry. It’s such an emotional read. I was in tears last night.

Casee: I’m reading Primal Law by J.D Tyler, which is a pseudonym for Jo Davis. I really liked Jo Davis’s firefighter series (the beginning anyway) so I though I would give it a try. I’m only a few chapters in but so far it seems good. The heroine did seem a little calm about shape shifters. Hello? Scream and run.

I also finished Hunter’s Rise by Shiloh Walker which turned out to be good. I’m glad I finished it.
