What Are You Reading? #DFRAT Edition: Week 4 (114)

Holly: My reading didn’t pick up much this week. I’m having a pretty dismal reading month, actually. I think, so far, I’ve only read 9 books. Lame. The good news is, my reading quality has been outstanding. I’ve read some really great books. Remind me not schedule a read-a-thon the month I’m moving in the future, ok?

This week I read All He Ever Needed by Shannon Stacey – Mitch Kowalski’s book. It was great. I love Stacey’s contemporary romances. I also read Blade Song by J.C. Daniels, the alter-ego of Shiloh Walker. It was also a great read. I’m really disappointed the sequel isn’t coming out for so long.

Last night I started Undercover Alliance by Lilly Cain. I’m about halfway through and really enjoying it. This is a great series.

Rowena: This week, I read a lot of historicals and YA but last night I started Negotiating Point by Adrienne Giordano. So far, it’s pretty good. I’m itching to get some more Shannon Stacey books read so I’ll be looking forward to Holly’s review of the latest in the Kowalski series. I’m not sure what I want to read after I finish Negotiating Point. Probably another historical. I’m in a mood. I finished reading The Ugly Duchess by Eloisa James and A Week to be Wicked by Tessa Dare and I want to read more of the same.

What are you guys reading this week?

  1. Kim

I finished Beautiful Sacrifice by Elizabeth Lowell. It was a very disappointing read. I’m now reading She tempts the Duke by Lorraine Heath.

  2. As I’d hoped, I did a bunch of DFRAT reading over the weekend! Favorite was How to Tell a Lie by Delphine Dryden. Also read Yours to Keep by Shannon Stacey — I hadn’t heard about the new Kowalski book, will have to look for it now I’m caught up. 🙂
