What Are You Reading this Memorial Day Weekend? (109)

Rowena: We’re running a little late today but that’s because I’ve been much too busy doing absolutely NOTHING at work, haha. While everyone is already starting their weekends, I had to stay at work and man the front desk so I’m not too happy right now but anyway….right now, I’m reading The Summer My Life Began by Shannon Greenland. It’s a YA book and I’m only about six pages in so I can’t say if I love it or not. I’m hopeful though.

Holly’s busy getting ready to move so it’s just me this week.

What are you guys reading?

  1. Too many books, as usual. Primary book to finish is A Gentleman Undone. Listening to Helen Keller in Love. Gym book is Never Let Her Go by Gayle Wilson. I forget all the others.

  2. Oh I feel ya sista. I’m still at work too and will be probably until 9p’ish. Siiigh. But 3 days off!!! Yay!!! I plan on diving into Nightshifted by Cassie Alexander or Blackout by Mira Grant.

  3. A few on the go – mainly a Flavia de Luce mystery and a Morland Dynasty historical fiction. However, Jill Mansell’s latest is calling my name and I just picked up Nora Robert’s The Last Boyfriend so maybe I will read that instead.

I’m still trying to get through The Proposal by Mary Balogh. I like it, but it tends to drag in places.

I’m reading the final book in the Elusive Lords trilogy, An Heir of Deception by Beverley Kendall. It’s very good so far.

@Marg: Which one is the latest Mansell? Nadia knows Best?

I hope everyone enjoyed their reads and have moved on to other great reads. I know I have.
