Rowena: It’s been a good reading week for me. I just finished up Lucky in Love by Jill Shalvis, The Sky is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson, Breaking Beautiful by Jennifer Shaw Wolf and Hot Under Pressure by Louisa Edwards. Didn’t read a book that I didn’t like this week though my favorite of the bunch is probably tied between The Sky is Everywhere and Lucky in Love. Right now I’m juggling a couple of different books. I’m reading Nadia Knows Best by Jill Mansell, Mostly Good Girls by Leila Sales and Sugar Rush by Donna Kauffman. So far, so good on all three books.
Holly: It’s been a slow reading week for me. I read the Granite Lake Wolves series by Vivian Arend, Wolf Signs (Currently FREE for Nook and Kindle!!), Wolf Flight, Wolf Games, Wolf Tracks and Wolf Line.
As an aside, these covers are totally hot. Rwar:
To continue with the theme, I’m going to read Black Gold by Arend today. After that, I think I’ll read At Last by Jill Shalvis. I heart her Lucky Harbor books.
What are you reading?
I have been through a paranormal binge so to speak: Thea Harrison’s novellas, Lynn Viehl’s “Nightborn”, currently reading the second book in Laurann Dohner’s New Species series (technically not paranormal though). I am preparing for the barrage of new releases next Tuesday. I must have like 10 books in my wish list, all coming out on the 24th … the budget is going to loudly complain o.O
Which books are you looking forward to?
This has been a horrible week for me! I have read… nothing. I have 3 books that I started last week but I got the case of the blehs and didn’t want it to spoil those books. I’ve been catching up on my People magazines though…
I hate it when that happens. I’m just coming out of a reading funk like that. Hope it gets better.
Oh cool – I didn’t realize that there’s a book after Wolf Tracks – must get that. lol
It comes out May 1. 🙂
I am reading How to Eat a Cupcake.
@Holly: I am truly looking forward to all the books in my wish list due out next Tuesday, but I have a soft spot for Lynn Kurland so I have to say “All for You”. I am also majorly curious as to Sandra Hill’s new series, so the first title, coming out next Tuesday as well, is also at the top of the list.
I’m finally playing catch-up with Kelley Armstrong’s Women of the Otherworld series. I think I only have three more books to read and then I’ll be up-to-date on that series and start in on her Young Adult books. 😛
I just finished The Duke’s Perfect Wife. Something was missing from this book. I liked the storyline between Hart and Ian, but something was missing from the rest of the story.
I’m now reading Nora Roberts’ book, The Witness.
@Pat L: How are you liking that book? I read that book not too long ago and liked it well enough.
I finished Nadia Knows Best by Jill Mansell and am looking to finish the other two in the next couple of days. Wish me luck!
