Rowena: I’ve had a pretty good reading week but I’m also really glad that it’s over. I’ve been reading a lot of YA books lately but I’m in the mood for some more adult stories so I picked up Too Hot To Touch by Louisa Edwards and I’m reading that right now. I’m really glad that I picked it up too because I’m enjoying Max and Jules story and I’m itching for Danny’s story too. After this book, I will definitely be reading Some Like It Hot by Louisa Edwards.
Holly: It’s almost St. Patrick’s Day. Who’s excited for corned beef and green beer (I AM!)? This week I read Tempted by Her Innocent Kiss and Undone by Her Tender Touch by Maya Banks. Both were good, though I had a few problems with them. I plan to go back and read the first two books now.
I also read the Fifty Shades trilogy, Fifty Shades of Grey, Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed by EL James. What depressing books. All three are compelling reads, but they aren’t feel good stories. Even the Rainbows and Butterflies epi at the end of book three wasn’t enough to warm me up after reading them.
After that, I need a palate cleanser. So I plan to read Lucky in Love by Jill Shalvis today, then More Than One Night by Sarah Mayberry.
What are you reading?
A Week to Be Wicked by Tessa Dare. Gym book is Infamous bu Suzanne Brockmann.
Just started A Town Called Valentine.
I think it is going to be a good read.
Pat L.
I finished Rainshadow Road by Lisa Kleypas. It was a good read, but not one of her keepers. The glimpses of magical realism didn’t quite work.
I’m currently reading Sophia Nash’s new novel.
Just that comment about the Grey trilogy eased my curiosity! Thanks for that!
I’m reading Man Law by Adrienne Giordano.
I also just finished Rainshadow Road today. I really enjoyed it.
