Casee: I’ve been going back and forth between a romantic suspense kick and a paranormal kick. Right now I’m on a paranormal kick. Right now I’m reading Deeper Than Midnight by Lara Adrian. It wasn’t much interested in it at first because the heroine seemed rather wimpy. Now that I’m halfway through it, it’s pretty good.
After I finish that, I’m going to get Skin Dive by Ava Gray. Although the reviews aren’t promising I have loved this series from book one. Plus, it’s Gillie.
Rowena: Like Casee, I’ve been going back and forth but instead of genres, for me, it’s been books. I keep picking up and then putting down Nearly a Lady by Alissa Johnson and then last night, I finally just put it down and will come back to it later. I can’t get into it. So instead, I’ve picked up Only Yours by Susan Mallery. So far, it’s pretty good. There’s still a whole bunch of cheesy small town goodness but I’m eating it up with a silly grin on my face. I’m loving Simon and his hot and cold attitude. I’m loving his scars and his story and I should be finished with it today. I’m not sure what I’m going to read next but I’m thinking I’ll try again with Alissa Johnson.
Holly: Yesterday I read Serpent’s Kiss by Thea Harrison. I’m beyond annoyed that it’s over. I WANT MORE DAMMIT. I also read the excerpt for the next book at the back and I WANT THAT BOOK DAMMIT. Yes, I know, it sucks to be me.
I’m thinking I might finally start Archangel’s Blade by Nalini Singh. I haven’t been in the mood for UF/PNR lately but after reading Serpent’s Kiss I think I’m in the mood for more of the same.
What are you reading?
I finished Cast in Ruin today and absolutely loved it. I’m actually considering rereading it over the weekend. I rarely reread and it’s basically unheard of for me to read the same book back to back.
I just finished Jewels of the Sun by Nora Roberts, which I picked up in desperation because none of the books I’d brought with me to camp were working out. It turned out to be really good, hooray! Looking forward to the next in the series. — willaful
I’m not a huge Nora Roberts fan, but that is one series that really worked for me. Enjoy.
@Scooper – is that UF?
It’s fantasy. My absolutely favorite series ever.
