Holly: My husband is out of town for the weekend which means I’ll have pretty much uninterrupted reading time. Wo0T! Unfortunately I’ve been kind of feeling meh about everything I pick up lately. I think I’m in the mood for something different. Any suggestions?
I did re-read Bet Me by Jennifer Cruise yesterday. Man do I love that book. The witty banter, the Krispy Kremes, the chicken marsala…yum!
Rowena: It’s been a slow reading week for me since I’ve had one too many things going on. I’m reading a bunch of stuff right now and I’m really liking all of them. On the romance side, I’m reading Just Like Heaven by Julia Quinn. On the YA side of things, I just finished reading Awaken by Katie Kacvinsky (very good) and am now reading Invincible Summer by Hannah Moskowitz.
Naked in Death, JD Robb, first one for me … after Twitter discussion on Eve and Rourke!
I’m reading Hidden Away by Maya Banks, How to Woo a Reluctant Lady by Sabrina Jeffries, and listening to Moon Called by Patrica Briggs on audio.
I’m really loving Moon Called. I’m so far behind on the series (as this is the 1st one!), but hope to catch up soon.
Just started Leslie Kelly’s Slow Hands and in the middle of The Iron Duke.
@Carly – YAY! I’m so glad you’re starting the series. I’ve been doing a lot of re-reading since that (or another?) Twitter discussion.
@Amber – What do you think of the Jeffries? IIRC, I really liked it, but it wasn’t as good as a few of the others.
@Wynter – What do you think of The Iron Duke so far?
I literally just finished A Lot Like Love by Julie James. First book of hers I ever read. 2 thumbs up. The back cover blurb mentioned a hot FBI agent so I had to read it! lol

I’m reading A Lot Like Love by Julie James. Loving it so far!

Eternal Kiss of Darkness by Jeanienne Frost. Good. Would be reading it right now, but had to charge my Nook. 🙂 Also reading A Kiss at Midnight. Not as good a kiss book, so far. — willaful
Welcome to Last Chance by Hope Ramsay. Liking it.
Pat L.
I just started Treachery in Death. Unlike the previous releases, I put off reading this book immediately. I wonder if I’m getting burned out by this series…
I’m in the mood for a funny paranormal but I just caught up to the Pride series by Shelly Laurenston. Now I have wait 2 more months for the next book. Sad.
@Holly,
I’m liking it so far. I read the first in the series, but didn’t read the one in between.
I’m reading Goddess of the Hunt by Tessa Dare. I just finished her ‘Stud Club’ trilogy. I know I’m reading backwards through her books but I started reading Once Dance with a Duke and couldn’t put it down so I had to read the other 2.
@lisabea–I had to really look closely, but is that Batman and Robin in a lip-lock on your avatar? Too funny!
Oh yes, I am reading ‘Remember When’ by Judith McNaught. This lady certainly has a way with words…
Holly~
I loved Bet Me, but for some reason Faking It and Welcome to Temptation were more my thing. Cruise is a must buy/have/read. Actually–I bought a hardcover Cruise when I was with you in LA!! At the UBS.
I’m just about to crack open the new Brockmann. *squee*

I finished A Lot Like Love by Julie James and I’m now reading What I Did for a Duke by Julie Anne Long. A Lot Like Love was very good.
