Rowena: It’s been another slow going reading week for me. I didn’t read very much this week. I finished up the books from last week and I started reading One Night is Never Enough by Anne Mallory and last night I started My One and Only by Kristan Higgins. So far, so good on both books. I couldn’t help myself, I had to start the Kristan Higgins…because, it’s a Kristan Higgins.
Casee: January is usually the busiest time for me at work. 2011 is setting some kind of “lets see if we can kill Casee (and not with kindness) record. Sadly, the first thing that takes a hit when I’m busy at work is reading and the time I get to dedicate to this blog. I hate that things that give me pleasure are things that have to take a back seat. Bitterness will fester if I let it.
I don’t foresee January being a stellar reading month for me. Right now I’m reading Dreamveil by Lynn Viehl. I really loved the Darkyn series and can’t really say why it took me so long to start the Kyndred series. Hopefully I’ll have enough time to actually finish this book because it is really quite good.
Holly: I’m reading JoAnn Ross’ Castlelough series. I’ve finished the first two books and I’m getting ready to start the third. I’m really enjoying them.
I just got the latest in the Kyndred series, but I’m embarrassed to say I haven’t even read the first two that I have somewhere on my Kindle yet. I’m glad to hear that it’s worth starting though, I’ll look forward to seeing what you think of it (since I know you’ll finish it looong before I get anywhere near it).
I have When Harry Met Molly by Kieran Kramer to read this week and I’m actually going to start the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning that everyone’s talking about. 😉
I just started Unholy Ghosts by Stacia Kane I hear it is awesome and it sure started out with a bang….
The last book that I finished was the reissue of books 1 and 2 in the Mediator series by Meg Cabot. I hope to start SEP’s new one sometime this week.
Rowena, you’re so lucky that you already have Kristan Higgins’s new one. Love her books!
