Holly: Friday I started reading Jazz Baby by Lorelie Brown. It’s set in prohibition-era and centers around a prohibition agent and the owner of a speakeasy. I’m really looking forward to reading it, especially since I love that era. Unfortunately I’ve had ZERO time to read since I started it. I think I’ve read like two chapters and that’s it. Today I’m determined to set aside some dedicated reading time (which means I probably won’t get any at all..lol).
Casee: Casee is on vacation this weekend and isn’t really reading much. She’s visiting her sister in Oregon. I’m totally jealous. – Holly

Just started Anna Campbell’s newest, MY RECKLESS SURRENDER.
A few things actually — BETRAYED by P.C. and Kristin Cast; SWORN TO SILENCE by Linda Castillo; and TEMPTING THE MARQUESS (for review).
Too much on my plate?
I’m reading Reckless by Anne Stuart. It’s a galley proof I was lucky enough to get from NetGalley. I’ve just finished Ruthless by AS too – oh, the hero (Rohan) was delicious! The ending was a bit trite but for most the book I was simply drooling about this deliciously decadent bad boy of the 1760’s. I thoroughly recommend it. This was my first Anne Stuart book but I’ll definitely be reading more.
I’m reading Disaster Status by Candace Calvert and Marriage, Interrupted by Karen Templeton. I’m WAYYYYY behind on my Templeton reading, but I love her voice.
I’m reading “Ancient whispers” by Marie-Claude Borque and then I really have to work on reducing my TBR pile.
I finished Karen Rose’s Silent Scream – loved it as always with her books.
Then i read Jo Davis’ two books in her firefighter series – Trial by Fire and Under Fire. They were pretty good and I order the next two in the series.
No idea what i will pick up next. I have lots of historicals in my piles so I might choose Tempting the Marquess.
I’m in the middle of Forever After by Catherine Anderson, and Shameless by Karen Robards. (One for home, one for gym.) — willaful
