WHEN IT COMES TO THE LAWS OF ATTRACTION . . .

Payton Kendall and J.D. Jameson are lawyers who know the meaning of objection. A feminist to the bone, Payton has fought hard to succeed in a profession dominated by men. Born wealthy, privileged, and cocky, J.D. has fought hard to ignore her. Face to face, they’re perfectly civil. They have to be. For eight years they’ve kept a safe distance and tolerated each other as co-workers for one reason only: to make partner at the firm.

. . . THERE ARE NO RULES.

But all bets are off when they’re asked to join forces on a major case. At first apprehensive, they begin to appreciate each other’s dedication to the law—and the sparks between them quickly turn into attraction. But the increasingly hot connection doesn’t last long when they discover that only one of them will be named partner. Now it’s an all out war. And the battle between the sexes is bound to make these lawyers hot under the collar . . .

Is anyone surprised that I’m looking forward to this book coming out? March 3rd is such a long time to wait though. If you haven’t read Julie James debut novel, Just The Sexiest Man Alive, you need to remedy that because that book is the bomb and then after you’re done reading and loving that book, mark your calendars because Julie James has another book coming out and I, for one cannot effing wait.

March 3, 2009…that’s the day, save the date and buy this book!

This book is available from Berkley. You can pre-order it here.

This book was put on my list to buy since I heard of it last year. I can’t wait to read this one!

I have Just the Sexiest Man Alive in my TBR. Sigh. So many books, so little time.

To tell you the truth, the feminist thing doesn’t really float my boat.
The cocky hero sounds great, though. I’m probably going to like the hero a lot more than the heroine in this one.

I really should hurry up and read JTSMA first. Time. I need more hours in the day to read!

Did you guys read the excerpt JJ has up on her website? I’m very, very interested in JD, hehe.

    Seneca,

What are you waiting for? JJ wrote a really good romance and I thought Taylor, the heroine was a fantastic heroine, not bad at all.
