Casee: I ended up finishing June stronger than I thought I would. I started the month out so slow, I didn’t have much hope that it would get better. Then it turned around. I read 9 books in June.

My favorite read of the month was a toss up between Getting Played by Emma Chase and Archangel’s War by Nalini Singh. They were both great, though in different ways. My least favorite read was The Friend Zone by Abby Jimenez. That book gets a whole lot of nope from me.
Rowena: My reading wasn’t as strong as Holly’s was but it was pretty good for me. Things really picked up toward the end of the month for me so I’m super excited for the summer reading challenge that we’re participating in on the blog. I’m so ready to tackle my Summer Reading Challenge pile.

Silence Fallen (Mercy Thompson #10) by Patricia Briggs (eBook) | 4 out of 5
My favorite read of the month was probably Superfan (Brooklyn Bruisers #6) by Sarina Bowen. I heart Silas hard and Delilah grew on me. In the beginning, she frustrated me some with how much power she let her ex have over her life but she learns her lesson and grows as a person so that made me happy.
My least favorite reads were plenty but of the ones that I didn’t like over the course of the month, the one I hated the most was The Friend Zone by Abby Jimenez. So much of that book pissed me off that it’s a week later and I’m still pissed off about everything. Grrr.

June was a good reading month for me! Fave: Playing House (ARC) by Ruby Lang, so sweet and cute. Least fave: Million Dollar Marriage (ARC) by Katy Evans – never gonna read a reality tv romance ever again
My favorite was Huge Deal by Lauren Layne. I didn’t have a least favorite.
26 books in June, Holly?! Holy crap!!! My fav was The Highland Earl by Amy Jarecki!
My reading in June was dismal 🙁 Fav read was Wolf Rain by Nalini Singh. Can’t wait for Archangel’s War !! thanks for sharing!
My favorite was Say No to the Duke by Eloisa James – I just finished it a couple days ago. I didn’t read anything that was bad this month. (Surprising)
My favorite book of the month of June was Rachel Reid’s HEATED RIVALRY, an m/m romance covering ten years in the secret relationship between two professional hockey players. So, so good! (Reid’s first book, GAME CHANGER, is also very good.)
I didn’t read anything I absolutely hated in June, but Tess Oliver’s CAPTIVE (a freebie download about a female police detective working undercover) annoyed me for its negative portrayal of women (other than the heroine)—especially the fiancée of the heroine’s partner, who is presented as negative and complaining for wanting her husband-to-be to look at wedding venues and sample wedding cakes with her. The book ends on a cliffhanger, but I doubt I’ll continue with the series.
The best book I read this month (and this year) was A Gentleman In Moscow by Amor Towles. I want everyone to read this book, it was that good. There’s no romance, but it’s a gentle, hopeful, feel good kind of read. I also loved In a Badger Way by Shelly Laurenston and Hot Asset by Lauren Layne. Least favorite was You and Only You by Sharon Sala which I DNF’ed. Nothing wrong with the book, it’s just that my tastes have changed and I couldn’t get into it.
JenM, I read A Gentleman in Moscow last year. I agree with you; it’s an excellent book.
My least favorite in June (that I can remember) was Solipsism by Noel Luis Nuñez; admittedly, I did not finish a goodly number of other books.
A few favorites were The Bride Test by Helen Hoang, Blood of the Earth by Faith Hunter, and Magic for Liars by Sarah Gailey.
worst book: comfort food by Kitty Thomas
My favorite book of the month was Completely Yours by Erin Nicholas. I absolutely loved the geeky heroine and the hero was very swoon worthy! Didn’t have a worst book of the month since I didn’t get a chance to read too many books in June.
Zen Your Work was my favorite read. No bad reads yet in 2019. Fingers crossed I don’t have any. 🙂
My favorite reads of June were Red, White, and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston and The Bromance Book Club by Lyssa Kay Adams. I didn’t read much else so I didn’t have a least favorite.
