If I was ever to be a rabid fangirl, Nalini Singh would be responsible. Not only is her Psy/Changeling series amazing, but she’s also one of the nicest people you could meet.
Hostage to Pleasure is the story of Dorian. Ah, Dorian. *sigh*
Though this book won’t be released until September 2, 2008, Nalini is running an ARC contest. You can enter here.
Nalini also has the most awesomest author website. Check out the blurb and first champter of Hostage to Pleasure here.
So who else is as crazy about this series as I am?
*raising hand and bouncing excitedly* ME ME ME!!!
I’m writing reviews of the first four books–perfect excuse for a pre release re-read, no?
I want, I want, I waaaaaaaaaaaaant!
*ahem*
I adore this series. It hasn’t let me down yet. 😉 Hopefully, it will live up to expectations, and hopefully, I’ll win an Arc!! Lol.
One of the best series to come along in a while! Consistently good stories and that’s a bit rare, no?
:o)
I’ve never read any of her books. Although yes, I’ve heard fabulous things about it and I want to try it to see what all the hubbub is about.
ooooooooooooooooohhhhh Wendy, you are in for a treat if you do try them. Allow me to pimp my review, if I may?
It’s funny, but I had a hard time getting into this series at first. Now I’m hooked and anticipate each new book. Thanks for the heads up about the ARC contest!
I love Nalini’s Psy-Changeling series!! Solid and consistent world building and some of the best alphas around. Her Changelings–and Judd!– are hot, sexy, protective, but oh so sweet! They try their darnedest to give their mates some space. Aww.
*Sigh* Dorian *draws littles hearts all around his name* He’s so sexy. I fell for him in StS because he was so sad and so angry, and now he’s turned all charming so he’s officially irresistible. And I can’t even participate in the ARC contest because I’ll be travelling around for the next 3 months so there’s nowhere it could be sent to me :(. My copy is already on pre-order of course and will arrive home long before I do. I can’t believe that for the book I was most eagerly awaiting in this series I won’t be reading it until a solid month after its release.
ME!ME!ME!ME!ME!ME! *jumping up and down with hand in air*
I NEED this book. NEED it you hear! LOL
Really, Nalini is on my MUST buy list. I’ve already destroyed two copies of StS and CbI through over reading and pimping… ah leaning.
aymless, I’m with you! At the rate I’m going, I’m gonna have to get another set for the keeper shelves soon!
I LUUUUURVE Nalini. I want her ARC soooo badly. No one else should enter. I need it!
MEEEEEEEEEEEE!
As if we have to wait till 2008. NO FAIR! I wish we could read it now now now.
(Why do most of the covers for this series suck so much?)
Fabulous review, AL! I definitely need to start reading this series. *grins*
wendy, you do, you do
srsly
*grin*
ME. WANT.
I *heart* Nalini and these books so much. I love Dorian but I am waiting for Hawkes story. Hmmmmmm, Hawke. *slurp* Erm..sorry.
Thanks for the heads up!!! Squeeee!!!!
I loved Judd and can’t wait to see what she brings next.
CIndys
Thanks to you, Casee, I am finally reading Slave to Sensation. I plan to finish it tonight. I buy each book as soon as it’s released, but had yet to start the series. Of course, I love it. She’s built an awesome word around the Changelings/Psy. I am loving it.
